Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head and lots of huge carbonation bubbles. Aroma is a nice fruity spice with some yeastiness and some honey. Flavor is more of a caramel malt with some earth and black herbal tea. Finish is almost salty with some meatiness. This was decent but also strange. It had the aroma of a saison with the flavor of a biere de garde.

Pretty cool beer with a lot of flavor and complexity. Doughy yeast and some dusty dank basement. A touch of bright lemon and pepper help keep the yeast from taking over too much. Really nice.

To help end Philly Beer Week ’13, thanks Dan! Pours very murky golden amber with a light beige head. The aroma is light fruity Belgian yeast. The flavor brings light Belgian yeast as well, and then lightly bittered malts. For some reason I am not getting a lot out of this beer, but the twins are loving it!
