COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hiding deep in one of the many bends of the Ourthe river, Durbuy, which already received the title of town in 1331, prides itself on being the smallest town in the world. Witness of a prestegious past, Durbuy has kept its traditional character and has achieved fame as a place of gastronomy

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Clear yellow with a large white head. The aroma is full of Belgian yeast and grass. The flavor is very similar. I get some nice grass and lemon notes as well as some yeast and a low amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

33cl bottle. Well filtered orange with a medium white head. Nose : Hay and caramel malts with a little alcohol aroma. Floral honey. Apricot tart. Sip : Soft carbonation and little creamy texture makes it easy to drink. Sweet beer with now strong aroma of honey. There is also a little dry to sour taste with an addition of delicate metal taste. Overall it is far from beeing my favorite tripple.

Was drunk at the expiry date, tasted of old beer. Can not be recommended to saved so long, should have been drunk 1 year before I think.

(33cl bottle best by 2-7-2013 thanks to bu11zeye) clear gold with tan creamy head and excellent lacing. Nose of corn, alcohol, and a bit spicy. Taste is peppery, Belgian yeast, bready, a bit of alcohol, tastes odd and herbal. Creamy body.

sayravai (4654) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUN 20, 2011
(Bottled, BBE unknown as the back label was missing) Slightly hazy amber with a medium, firm and lacy head. Neutral aroma of caramely and pale malt, and a touch of tartness. Flavor is caramely-bisquity-malty, slightly vegetably and alcoholic, with some aromatic hops leading to a bitterish finish. Medium to full body, slightly fizzy CO2. A drinkable, but not the most complex or balanced tripel. Gets some aged character when warming up... maybe not the freshest bottle. 5446
