COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our latest limited edition. Evensong fermented with pure cherry juice and bottle-conditioned. Ample maturation time has fused the cherry and Evensong into a brand new creation. This is a natural fruit beer where the fruit is an integral part of the experience. Amarelle is much more subtle because only natural cherry juice is used and is fermented and matured into the beer. Sour cherry flavour blends with the malty fullness of Evensong. Because it is properly fermented, the beer is dry and winey with a deep ruby colour. The artwork is designed by Dan Walls especially for this brew. Bottle Conditioned.

Bottle from Trembling Madness. Tries to creep out of the bottle. Pours dark brown with a slightly pinkish head. Aroma is rather cherry. Med body. Flavor is malty cherry. It’s decent, but it’s not a kriek, it’s not a sour, it’s not very bitter. Basically it seems to be a tasty fruit beer. Not bad.

Not as sour as I’d hoped, but has an interesting cherry complexity with something else which I liked. Bit too sweet. 23 499.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; dark brown pour with purple tinge with tiny off white head, fruity aroma, quite heavy carbonation which doesn’t quite sit right with this style of beer, I prefer a more mellow bubble, the taste for me has dried fruits marzipan. Adequate.

Bottle from Coppers, newcastle. This dark ruby red-brown beer exploded out of the bottle. It has rich cherry, blackcurrant and slight chocolate flavours with sweetness and malt on the rich finish.
