3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled 50cl. Purchased in Drinks of the World, Zurich. Darker in color than your average Abbey Tripel. Tall creamy head, high carbonation. Strong Belgian yeast presence, some coriander sneaking in. Full bodied, fruity. I wasn’t enshrined by grace drinking Bedes Chalice. Almost qualifies for a Belgian Strong Ale to my tastes. Decent and without major flaws.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle @ home. Aroma is some herbal hops, fruity malty and yeasty notes. Flavour is sweet and malty at first, then some spicy hops and a light liquorice and yeasty finish.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from the brewery. A hazy golden beer that pours with a huge white head. Sweet and fruit with caramel and pineapple notes. Yeast flavours are prominent too. Full and creamy mouth feel from the high carbonation. Warming alcohol too. Nice.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium gold, with a large off-white head, which lasts very well and leaves reasonable lacing. Orange peel and peach notes mix with a touch of spicy Belgian yeast and light sourdough malt to create the aroma. Lemon zest and orange hops up front lead into spicy Belgian yeast and a touch of dry sherry in the mid-palate. The finish is dry and spicy. This is not a bad attempt at the tripel style overall. It is a little on the simple side, but it is quite pleasant.

Horrendous beers which should never have left the brewery.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pale amber color. Orange and mandarine curacao in the floral aroma. Full bodied. Floral, alcoholic flavor with tangerine. Almost vinous. More a strong ale as a Belgian tripel.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Blonde foncé (on pourait dire chatain clair)
Elle sent bon le houblon (fleuri et fruité) et pourtant elle n’est pas (trop) amère.
Ca ressemble à un bonne triple d’abbaye mais en meilleur.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
(bottle) Hazy, orange-golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Fruity hoppy aroma with a mildly malty background and (unfortunately) present coriander spice. Mildly sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Malty and mildly fruity taste with spicy notes of coriander and ginger; mildly sweet and delicately bitter finish with rounded malty and fruity hoppy accents, but also with very present notes of coriander. Finally too much spiced for my liking. 13.IV.13
