Bottle conditioned. Available occasionally on cask as Priors Gold.
A good robust bitter. Some crystal malt gives a slight golden colour while a dry rich hoppy bitterness makes for a refreshing experience.

Bottle from Whistlestop Wines, Saltburn. Pours amber with a big frothy off white head. Mild pine aroma. The taste has a good bit of pine to it as well. There’s some light herbal spice too, but this almost has the feel of a APA. A decent drop.

Bottle from the brewery. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - slightly cardboard and sherbet as well an intended lemon note. Quite grainy too. Taste - grain and lemon. Maybe a little wild yeast again. Palate - light bodied with a thin body and a dry finish. Overall - disappointing.

Bottle conditioned. Hazy pale gold colour with a large frothy white head. Citrus hop aroma. Flavours are grapefruit and orange hops, pine, and an astringent long bitter finish. Light to mediun bodied. Very good.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium gold, with a very large white head, which lasts well and leaves reasonable lacing. Pronounced doughy yeast notes mix with floral and mandarin hops to create the aroma. Floral, orange and slight pine hops up front give way to a fairly light body, with white bread malt notes. Mandarin and mild spice hops come into the finish. A pleasantly refreshing golden ale.

500ml bottle from BeerRitz. Hazy amber brown, massive head. Biscuit, grain & tropical fruit aroma. Caramel grain & hop flavour. Sharp with bitter aftertaste. This is a great golden ale.

Hazy amber beer, tidy white head. Peppered with dark lumpy bits that soon fall to the bottom. Palate is light with good fine carbonation. Light malts, not much sweetness. Spicy bitter hops. Very mild dried fruits. Semi dry finish, mild bitter linger. Touch of dry malt cream. Okay bitter.

Possibly the liveliest bottled conditioned beer I’ve ever opened - be warned! Amber colour with a haze despite leaving the sediment in the bottle. A big, foamy, off-white head. Really handsome looking. The aroma is dampened by the head initially, but there’s yeast, pineapple, and even wood shavings there later. The taste really reminded my of a saison, which is not my favourite style so I’ve probably ended up rating this a little lower than it deserves. Pineapple at the start, then spice, then a dry, yeasty, bubblegum finish. Good.
