COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
Pale gold in colour but rich with grapefruit notes. This bitter is strong in alcohol and flavour, yet is thirst quenching and easy to drink. Named after St Cuthbert’s Cross which can be seen in Durham Cathedral

Clear golden pale hue. Lacy light white head. Very tasty, lemony and orangey hops remind of orange tea. Flowery and perfumey at the same time, just an aromatic blend of tasty hops. Soft underlying mineral profile. Minimalist malts are crisp and peasant, gently bready and the ensemble is refreshing and satisfying.

Cask handpump at the Swan in the Rushes, Loughborough. Pristine golden beer with a creamy white head. A lot of citrus flavour and nicely bitter. Light to medium bodied; very easy to drink. Superb.

I don’t really see the difference amoong all these Durham’s beers. It has a perfumed aroma, like flowers, but awful taste like squashy cream, I don’t like it.
