2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Rastacouere (5923) - Montréal, - SEP 21, 2007
Very pale yellow. Gentle white ring. Well-hopped, floral, dry golden ale with little to no maltiness. Barely grainy (sunflowers), seedy. Refreshing example, but really deceptively thin.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Sigmund (3713) - Hafrsfjord, NORWAY - AUG 28, 2007
Cask conditioned at The Three Judges, Glasgow. Extremely pale golden colour with a greenish hue, minimal head. Very moderate aroma, some hops, hints of grass and citrus. Thin mouthfeel. The flavour has a noticeable hoppiness with citrussy and grassy notes, fairly dry. I’d like some presence of malts too! OKish and drinkable, but the least impressive beer I’ve had from Durham so far.

A Mes rate:
Cask handpull at the Three Judges. Pale yellow colour with a slight white head. Wheaty aroma with some slight hoppy funk and some dusty tobacco. Mellow dusty hop flavour with some slight lemon and spice. Very drinkable and perfect for the Scottish heat I had just walked through to get to the Three Judges.
