On tap at the beer bistro. Pours a vibrant clear orange-amber, with a nice white rim. Smell is juicy, dank, hop resin and California pine woods round. Inviting. Flavor is just plain hop dank. Wow. This has serious hop flavor. Strong, up front, and insanely fresh. Tending towards the British hop flavor characters, but still with tons of dripping resinous character. Wow. A base of caramel lays under for support. Long finish in dry, cascade-like hops. Nice.

Sampled on BQ2010. Poured a dark amber body. Aroma is aggressive with alcohol and hops. Flavor is a bit strange with a solid hop to the face.

UPDATED: FEB 15, 2007 I’m a big fan of hops, but not insane hops, and this is right up my alley.
Beautiful aroma of citrus, and hops.
nice bitterness, but not too much bitterness, just enough to keep you comming back for more. I often have this at the Beer Bistro during my lunch! awesome stuff! Hey Durham, BOTTLE THIS!!!
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 mds (2115) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 30, 2006
Draught at Volo. Copper-brown body with a creamy white head and soft lacing. The aroma is full of piney wood hops, light caramel, and oranges. Solid earthy body with a good whack of hops up front making way for the sweet caramel middle. Loooong bitter finish. Good to see another IPA in Ontario!

On tap at <a
href=http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/ontario/ target=blank>The Volo in Toronto. Golden amber in colour, dissipating off-white head, some lace. The aroma is quite floral, some sweet caramel malts, light lemon. The large amounts of floral hops carry over to the flavour, some light orange citrus, caramel malt balance. Bitter dry mouthfeel, medium body, medium carbonation. Finishes with some moderate hop bitterness, floral and dry. Interesting.
