50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via The Dram Shop. Hazy dark apricot-brown colour. Very little head. Raisin, prune, brown sugar and faint clove aroma. Sweet, syrupy with an immediate pepper hit that continues through the long, sweet, alcohol, banana and oak infused finish. Further through the glass more fuggles hops come through brightening the overall experience. Quite nice, perhaps slightly more interesting with a bit of aging.
