500ml bottle from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury. Hazy gold, lasting thick off white head. Yeasty hoppy acidic aroma. Better in mouth. It’s a bit like a Summer Lightning me2 thing but hoppier and bitterer especially on the finish. Some yeast/rubber on aroma, but the mouthfeel and finish are more than decent. Some good satsuma type flavours. Maybe more clementine as I think about it. Likeable enough especially the finish. But still it’s another British bottle conditioned beer that has some issues with the bottle conditioning.

Bottle. Exploded out of the bottle despite being still for 24 hours. Hazy light gold with a white head. Aromas are soft malts with hints of pineapple and lemon. Bready yeast with toast malts. Flavours are sweet lemon with yeast and spices. Toast malts with hints of pineapple. What I had left from the bottle was decent.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A gusher, producing a hazy, yellow-orange body and a diminishing off-white head. Slightly lemony nose with a little sour touch. Pale malts. It’s refreshing and quite quenching, with a little lemony sour touch up front, and some pale malts in the back. Medium body, a bit fizzy. Pleasant bitterness in the end. Decent, nothing more. 100814

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2010. Pours hazy yellow with a creamy off white head. Nose is vaguely tart. Flavor is citrus, rubber, brett and cellar ? Medium bodied. An infection not going completely wrong.
