COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Permanent.
The name comes from the predominant hop. Amarillo is a light and floral American hop. On its own it makes a beer that has similar qualities to a light white wine. The addition of Goldings hops add a little more spice. The result is a deliciously fragrant light session beer. Amarillo and Goldings hops.

Cask (Fitzgerald’s, Sunderland) - Pale golden in colour. Grapefruit, peach and passion fruit in the aroma. Tangy and hoppy taste with notes of grapefruit, passion fruit and lemon standing out.

Fresh amarillo nose, slightly biscuity, light earthy hop character. Good balance, though I might prefer a bit more brightness.

Cask at the Arkwright Arms, Duckmanton, 04/10/13. Clear pale golden with a good sized white head. Nose is toasty malts, apple orchard, light hop bill. Taste comprises grass, green apple, hint of pear, light hops, toasty malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry grassy bitter notes in the finale. Ok GB but expected a little more from this brewer!

Cask. Light straw ale with a thick white head. Slight haze. Nose very light, like flour. Taste is hoppy, but light. A light lemon or kumquat with a touch of lychee. A little malty flour and floral finish. Very much a summerday quaffer.

Its a shame that the brewery couldn’t use these American hops in an American style. Powerful hops relegated to an afterthought in its taste profile. Watery, light funk aroma and a bit bitter. Could have been so much more.

Cask at CPK, London on 21st January 2012. Golden amber with off white head and plenty of lace. Hoppy aroma, grassy citric and a ta soapy. Fruity liquid then a cheesy touch before citric-led finish. Light mouthfeel and body.

Cask @ 3 Judges. Slightly cloudy light golden colour, white head. Aroma is fruity and hoppy, with citrus. Flavour is light malted, citric hops, followed by a load of dry biscuit maltiness. Ok stuff.
