2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask (handpulled) at Flowerpot, Derby. Disappointed with this, I usually love a Durham brew and the Flowerpot has them well represented. Quite a slight brew, citric twists seemed to melt away and leave little to savour.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: DEC 11, 2004 Thereís a big grassy hop aroma, but the edge is taken off it slightly by a whiff of sulphur. The palate is much as expected of a golden ale - crisp and clean, with lots of soft citrus. However, I found it tailed off a bit towards the end and could have done with more grip in the finish. Nevertheless, quite pleasant. Cask (gravity dispense) at Peterborough Beer Festival.
