COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our first beer brewed and released to the market. The IPA style was developed by the British to enable beer to survive a long voyage by ship from Britain to the colonies in India to supply the troops during the late 1700s and early 1800s. Beer usually spoiled on the trip, so a higher alcohol content and additional hops were used as natural preservatives. Our version is the American style, using a higher hopping rate than the British style, and American hops that produce citrusy and herbal/floral aromas. Moderate bitterness.

This golden colored beer has a citrusy aroma. It has a good IPA flavor but isn't too bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a nice deep clear gold body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma is very light offering up spicy to grassy hoppiness and then followed by some malts and then almost a cracker sort of note. The taste is smooth and gets into a decent amount of pine hops balanced by some malt sweetness. To midway it gets a little grapefruit and tangelo like and those citrus notes only build into the finish. At the finish a thin feeling body is noticed but this doesnít really distract from the taste all that much. Pretty nice.

this beer didnít stand out at all. It was however an average iPa and was quite fresh. Citrus hops slight fruitiness and a light malt balance. Not bad but I could see a lighter iPa like this fading quickly in a bottle."

Definitely hoppy. maybe a touch out of balance on the aftertaste. Malty on the knows but hoppy on the finish. The two match all too briefly in the middle.

From a tap at the Sierra Nevada Beercamp across America. The pour is a light gold with a spruce melon taste .

Poured from a 12 oz. bottle , golden with a good sized white head. Nose is mild, mostly malt, some mild pine aroma. Taste was somewhat balanced, body was on the thin side of medium, with a oily texture. Lively beer, with an abrupt finish. Drinkable, not too bad, but not up there with my favorite west coast IPAís.

Fresh hops bursting from the just opened bottle changed my attitude about this brew after having read a few ratings. I was not expecting much and was a little disappointed and having brought this one home. However, a hoppy and fresh floral aroma coming from the glass as I poured made all the difference in the world. The light orange flavor and light malt backdrop makes for a nice balance and leaves just a little light bitter to linger on my tongue. Itís a nice amber in the glass with a respectable head, but nothing that waits around for you. Iím enjoying this and would consider it a possible go to if it were in my area.

Pours a mid-to light amber with a touch of cloudiness. Slight malty-brothy nose. Bitter, but without a distinct hop flavor. Medium body with malty mouth feel. Good, but not great, nothing to get excited about.

Goes really well with a taco truck burrito, poor air quality, and a church on every corner.

Pours a cloudy orange copper with a ample head that diminishes to reveal excellent lacing. Aroma is sweet floral with tropical and citrus notes also some malt coming through. Palate is somewhat thin and finish is dry. Citrus and pineapple taste with nice maltiness. Bitterness is well balanced. More malt forward than most of the west coast IPAs but goes down easy. I could drink a few more of these.
