Our first beer brewed and released to the market. The IPA style was developed by the British to enable beer to survive a long voyage by ship from Britain to the colonies in India to supply the troops during the late 1700s and early 1800s. Beer usually spoiled on the trip, so a higher alcohol content and additional hops were used as natural preservatives. Our version is the American style, using a higher hopping rate than the British style, and American hops that produce citrusy and herbal/floral aromas. Moderate bitterness.

This golden colored beer has a citrusy aroma. It has a good IPA flavor but isn't too bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Goes really well with a taco truck burrito, poor air quality, and a church on every corner.

Pours a cloudy orange copper with a ample head that diminishes to reveal excellent lacing. Aroma is sweet floral with tropical and citrus notes also some malt coming through. Palate is somewhat thin and finish is dry. Citrus and pineapple taste with nice maltiness. Bitterness is well balanced. More malt forward than most of the west coast IPAs but goes down easy. I could drink a few more of these.

On tap in Modesto, CA. Pours a clear amber color. Aroma is weak, with muted hop notes. Taste is malty with some hop bitterness and pine presence. Weak IPA flavor. Well carbonated. Ehh...

22 oz bottle. Not that good. Lacks the bitterness of an IPA, and heavy on the malt side. Some floral and herbal flavor. Not impresses.

Bottle. Clear golden amber, with a white head. Citrusy hops, sweet malt, low bitterness, a bit bready, and floral notes. A decent IPA on the lighter side.

One of my favorite beers! Bold, hoppy flavor. Much better on draft, but still really good in a bottle. I highly recommend it!! Revere Stryker dog!

Pours a finger of head on a clear medium straw colored body. The aroma is lots of citrus: orange, mandarin, lemon and grapefruit. The taste starts with a strong pine bitterness, moderated by the malt, but still finishes with a dry pine bitterness. Good balance. The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation. A delicious IPA.

Aroma is citrus pineapple floral, sweet malt. Light butter as it warms. Appearance is golden copper. Clear with medium light tan head that dissipates quickly. Taste is sweet malt forward, citrus pineapple floral hops and a sharp bitterness, bit of chalk. Hint of diacetyl as it warms, which isnt hurting anything. Palate is pretty full for a smaller IPA. This helps the flavor come through. Overall this is a nice IPA. Even though the aroma hopping is not unique, it is good. The bitterness is crisp but smooth and again it has a uniquely full body. Almost like it isn’t quite fully attenuated, maybe the diacetyl? Enjoyable beer and worth a try IMO.

Bottle from the shop in Yosemite village in the US. Dark orange, copper body with an off-white head. Citrus hops in the nose. Strong carbonation. Bitter finish.
