3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is citrus pineapple floral, sweet malt. Light butter as it warms. Appearance is golden copper. Clear with medium light tan head that dissipates quickly. Taste is sweet malt forward, citrus pineapple floral hops and a sharp bitterness, bit of chalk. Hint of diacetyl as it warms, which isnt hurting anything. Palate is pretty full for a smaller IPA. This helps the flavor come through. Overall this is a nice IPA. Even though the aroma hopping is not unique, it is good. The bitterness is crisp but smooth and again it has a uniquely full body. Almost like it isn’t quite fully attenuated, maybe the diacetyl? Enjoyable beer and worth a try IMO.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Shared with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. Pours a rich copper with a big, rocky foamy off-white head that left big gobs of lacing. Nose is very floral hops. Nice caramel malt backbone. Medium in body with a resinous mouthfeel. Almost sticky. Flavor is very hoppy....with flowers as in the aroma, butt lots of pine and citrus. The finish is bitter but not strongly so. Nearly perfiect. Very tasty and easy drinking. I liked this one a lot..

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber from Hayduke. We had it together via facebook chat. This pours with a three finger off white head that falls leaving mesa in the middle. The beer is clear honey golden. Lacing is a crazing appearance. A citrus and caramel aroma hints at a class is west coast IPA. The flavor begins with bigger malts than expected. They are big enough to be in a double. They are caramel and pale. That puts the hops on the short side of the balance. Citrus leads and I never got floral or pine. If this was Dust Bowl’s first offering it was a good one.
