COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Soul Crusher is the biggest, most complex beer that we have ever brewed. We did a double mash and took only the high gravity first runnings from each mash to create this giant, deep brown stock ale with assertive, yet balancing bitterness. It has complex malt presence with very subtle British hop influence. The addition of brown sugar adds another layer of complexity and a rum-like quality to the brew.

Draft. Mahogony beer with a dark cream head. Carameland light cola aroma with light dark fruits. Caramel/toffee flavor with light alcohol and light fruitiness. Medium bodied. Caramel/toffee lingers with light dark malts and light fruitiness.

On tap at Beer Revolution. It pours a clear dark red color with an orange head. The aroma has tons of dried fruit, cherries and tangerines. Some caramel and alcohol as well. The flavor is dense with balancing caramel and fruit candy maybe a hint of toffee and cocoa. Lots of warming alcohol with a sweet and bitter finish. The body is hefty and oily, but well attenuated. Very well made and not too hot. Reminds me a bit of Victory Old Horizontal.
