Few brewers will take a wheat beer to the level of a wheat wine, but we did. Strawberry puree added toward the end of fermentation provides natural strawberry flavor and aroma, without adding additional sweetness. The 9.8% alcohol by volume is well hidden making for an incredibly drinkable fruit wheat wine.

On draft at Tap 25. It pours a rich golden color with a white head. The aroma is sweet with some strawberry, grapes, mango, fruit basket and hints of honey. The flavor is the same. Very fruity with lots of strawberry and red grape, yet dries out slightly with a little spice near the finish. Good body with a touch of honey. A very good, interesting high gravity fruit beer. Surprisingly not cloying.

"A strawberry wheat wine? Hmmm. Pours a murky pink. Smells amazing...fresh cut strawberries with an undercurrent of various malts, with a hint of spice and other hops. No hint of the nearly 10% abv, but nice medium to full body and flavor that nearly matches the aroma. A unique twist on a wheat wine and one of my favorites from Dust Bowl."

22 ounce bottle purchased at Nugget in Woodland. The aroma on this is a strawberry blast. There’s really nothing else present in the aroma. Modestly hazy orange body with a large, creamy cream-colored head present. Good lacing. Starts a little fruity and sweet, before this becomes quite messy with lots of husky wheat flavor, banana, esters, and band aids. Some buttery diacetyl comes through later on, too. Finishes with some ethanol. Nothing like brewing a big, flawed beer and trying to hide the flaws with fruit.

Yellow orange in color... Notes of strawberry jam on the nose, caramel... Flavor is light strawberries, caramel, a little thinner than I'd expect for a wheat wine... Kind of average ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy amber color. Strawberry and dough but not yeasty smell. Fruit opening that is not to sweet light hop nice. Refreshing leaves light fruit behind. I normally don’t like fruit wheat beers but they pull it off.

This beer had a strong aroma of strawberries. It is golden in color with a hit of red undertones. It is smooth and slightly fruity. Not too sweet and doesn't taste like a high alcohol beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours golden amber with a creamy white head. Light sweet aroma. Light fruit flavor. Very light and flavorful and this is nearly 10%. Heat is not even noticeable. With time the fruit becomes recognizable as strawberry.
