COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
At over 100 IBUs, Therapist is surprisingly easy to drink. Big, bold hop aromas and flavors of citrus, tropical fruits and pine are bracketed by light malty sweetness that does not overpower. A healthy addition of wheat in the grain bill adds to the body and mouthfeel.

Bomber from Hayduke that we had together via facebook chat. Clear amber gold with a nice beige head. I smell citrus fruit, pine, and toast. That pine and citrus are tasted along with some big malts. Toast and pale malts. Tangerine. Bitterness does not come close to 100 IBUs and is actually very moderate. Mid glass I taste a little caramel and toffee. This is generally sweet and is smooth. Not quite a classic anything but it is good. Still, I look at the ABV and think how much more this could be.

Pours a clear copper with an off-white head. Nose of citrus and stone fruit. Medium and somewhat resinous body. Smooth mouth feel. Flavor is the stone fruit, smooth light malts,, and citrus. Finishes dry with low bitterness. Very tasty and enjoyable.

Pours a clearish gold with a short white head and lacing. It has a nice pine, resin, and malt aroma with a similar flavor that is bitter resin up front with a not-too-malty backbone and dry, bitter finish over a heavy body. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A true hop bomb. Bitter with a high ABV and stone fruit flavor. If you are looking for big hop flavors associated with a kick then look no more. I like it.

Dark orange/gold with white head. Huge hop aroma with loads of pine resin, eucalyptus (cat pee). Same hop characteristics dominate the flavor profile with malt being barely able to make a showing. A bit too hop forward (Let alone the 10.4 abv) to have more than one at a sitting.

Grapefruit, pine, caramel, tropical flowers and dank in the aroma. Pours clear copper with huge white head. Super smooth with light bitterness bite at the end. Balanced well with alcohol a bit dominating.

2/18/15 from bomber. Nice piney hop aroma. Kind of a pine grapefruit almost oniony taste with a definite alcohol bite to it. Very good and still drinkable even at 10.4% ABV but a little too bitter for my taste. Not my favorite but worth buying again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear bright gold...looks almost oily...with a medium off white head...nice lacing and retention. Aroma is slightly boozy and has quite a bit of bitter grapefruit...some pineapple and grass poking though but any bright citrus is subdued by booze and bitterness. Flavor is very resinous and bitter...almost to the point of medicinal...grassy and pithy with a bit of grapefruit...too resinius. Mouthfeel is medium and slick with a very dry and bitter lingering resinous medicinal finish...very warming.

Sample at the Bistro’s DIPA-festival 2015. Light amber with a white head. Hoppy with grapefruit, caramel, malt, fruit. Really bitter and with warming alcohol.
