Draft @ 13th Bistro Double IPA Festival, Hayward, CA. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grapefruit hoppy bitter aroma with weak piney hints. Fruity malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty grapefruit bitter finish.

Draft. Rich amber beer with a creamhead. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and summer fruit flavor with sweet malt backing. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and summer fruit lingers with sweet malt.

Tap at Sacramento Beerfest 2013. Pours clear amber with a yellow beige head. Aroma of light pitted fruit and citrus. Med body.Flavor is light pitted fruit, light roasty malt and citrus. Finishes dry with a touch of caramel.

On Tap at Tap 25. I’m growing very fond of this brewery. I don’t think I’ve every had a bad beer by them. This one pours a clear gold with an off white head. The aroma is stanky and spicy with mild caramel and tropical fruit sweetness. The flavor is dank, spicy onion, only a hint of caramel on a full, oily palate. Nice finish. Great mouthfeel. A touch more aroma would have put this over the top.

On tap at Capitol Beer, Sacramento. Pours clear golden with a nice off-white head and a citrus aroma. There is a hearty caramel malt flavor that starts sweet and finishes quite bitter.

This is my first beer in awhile, since my wife got pregnant, so my score may be a little skewed. It has a great aroma and I like the hoppy flavor.

On tap at capitol beer Sacramento. Colorbis copper with white head. Aroma is malty and some hops. Taste is very malt forward. Has a slight pine sweet finish.

On tap at Beer Revolution poured a clear golden amber with a small lasting ivory head. Aromas of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit, light skunk bud and light pine. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, earthiness, grapefruit, orange zest and light pine with a crisp dry bitter lingering orange zest finish.
