8 cans for less than a fiver and the same strength as Stella! Available at my local Spar a mere 48 steps from home. It’s the dog’s bollocks.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Adrian (3) - California, USA - NOV 1, 2004 does not count
Uhmm, Although the overall rating is not too positive I rather enjoyed this beer. Nice foam, easy finish. Great buy quality and taste.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 yespr (22207) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 3, 2008
50 cL can. Pours clear and golden yellow with a lacing white head. Light to vague cornish aroma. Flavour is mild cornish and light bitter. Ends medium dry and cornish.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 larsga (4663) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAR 25, 2008
Big offwhite coarse head does not last. Yellow body with carbonation. Acidic grainy aroma. Dry grainy papery taste with notes of corn and cardboard. Grassy mealy papery aftertaste. Watery, sugary feel to it. Bland and unpleasant, which is kind of an achievement. (0.5l can, Londis, Dublin. 4.2%, brewed by Zuidhollandse Bierbrouwerij.)
2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 jredmond (2820) - Manhattan, New York, USA - AUG 9, 2009
Can. Pours orange body with small white head. Aroma is light malt. Taste is slight skunk, bitter, a bit offensive.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 imdownthepub (7491) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - AUG 26, 2006
Tinned, carbonated, 500ml, Export version at The Thai Shack, La Greve D’Azette, Jersey. Yellow gold with big white head. Ok, I’m probably over rating this, but it certainly wasn’t bad, sweetish malts and a touch of hop, but really this was all about the place. Imagine a perfect Thai Red Beef Curry, sat out on a big golden beach as big golden sun slowly dips below the horizon, pure peace and absolutely perfect. The cool lager popping against the hot curry with refreshing sweetness.
2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Wobbler (46) - IRELAND - SEP 19, 2006
This beer is extremely popular in Ireland. It is very cheap by Irish standards (6 cans for €7) and dosn’t taste all that bad. It’s very bland and has no real character. It’s advisably to drink this well chilled as it resembles dirty water at higher temperature. There are worse lagers which are considerably more expensive.
1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Richy (22) - Dublin, IRELAND - JUL 16, 2007
One of the worst beers available. Not actually sold in the Netherlands. In fact, I don’t think it’s sold anywhere except Ireland.
Tastes like someone has soaked some grains in water for a few minutes, added alcohol, poured it into a can and sold it.
Tuborg and Bavaria are much better 6 for €7 beers.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 SDbruboy (1864) - San Diego, California, USA - OCT 5, 2004
This is a pretty bad beer. Pours clear light yellow with a foamy head that lingers and leaves some lacing. Beyond the appearance, things sink fast. Aroma is sweet in an adjuncty sort of way with light hoppiness. Flavor is dry with a metallic sweetness and an oddly unpleasant tart finish. Light body and assertive carbonation.
1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 Dorwart (2161) - Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA - JUN 15, 2011
Decent sized bright white head of varying sized bubbles. Reduces to a sloppy bit of foam. Light orage and some biscuity malts. Pretty weak aroma. Color is a medium gold. Rice flavored water. Very little body. A real thirst quencer. Some cereal grains and spicy bitterness left behind. Not the worst I have had.
