COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s Note: This is the draught beer known variously as Duvel Green/Draught. It is most commonly available in the US and UK, but not in Belgium. This is NOT the same beer as the bottled Duvel Groen. It is NOT the same beer as regular Duvel, which is also a strictly bottled product.

Draft a proof. Clear golden huge fluffy white head that lingers. Aroma of Belgian yeast fruity and floral peppery. Light body pepper and Belgian sugar and yeast character. Dry finish with a lingering earthy bite.

Looks great. Golden colour, big foamy white head. Aroma is light. Flavour is weak, a bit sweet, not a huge amount going on. Quite gassy, could be a good refrehing beer, but not enough going on to really interest me.

Perfect glowing clear golden. Frothy white lasting head with rings of lace. Yeast, fruity esters, wheat, grain, grass, lemon. Medium body, mild tart, some dryness. Soft carbonation, clean and refreshing. Enjoyed this.

Draft at Proof. Clear deep golden pour with a soapy white head that laces. Initial aroma of funky yeasts, Belgian candy sugars, sweet malts, peppery spices and floral hoppiness. Smooth mouthfeel with above mentioned descriptors in the flavor with a clean sweet ending. Subtle booze. Not bad.

Tap flight at Flying Saucer San Antonio. Pale yellow color, short lived white head. Fruity Belgian yeast aroma. Taste is bitter hops, Belgian yeast, and honey water. Complex and good.

Draft at Fireworks Alexandria. Poured a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma was some light yeast notes, with some sweet malts, and a touch of spicy, earthy hops. Flavor was some hop, and some sweet, spice notes. Pretty tasty.

Not bad, but a little too much towards an average pilsener for me. Aroma of yeast and some floral hops. Pours lager pale but with good head and lacing. Taste.slightly sour. Tap at coles

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2013 Draught at Gingerman. The lesser cousin to me. I don’t enjoy this as much as a regular Duvel. I’ve had it once each labeled as Green and Single but don’t think there’s much difference, just the name.

Draught smaple, stable creamy head, clear light gold colour, aroma of candy, wood and cardboard, malty flavour with some fruit and a strong sourness, very long sour bitter aftertaste, that is a touch unpleasant. Easy to drink but not really exciting.
