COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Editor’s Note: This is NOT the draught Duvel (aka Duvel Green). Duvel Groen is only bottled, never draught, and generally only available in Belgium, not the US or UK.

Eructoblaster (2043) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 5, 2007
Bottle - 250ml. Pale gold hazy body with average carbonation and a good white foamy head. Decent malty/hoppy aroma with grassy and bready notes. Alcohol is well hidden. Sharp hoppy taste with herbal and malty hints. Ends with a fair bitter finish. Drinkable, but not that much impressive.

epassa (105) - Sao Paulo, BRAZIL - APR 24, 2007
Golden color with a nice white head, but not so good like in the red version. Citric, hoppy, fruit and a little bit sweet. I prefer the original version.

french tickler (642) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - APR 7, 2007
Clear golden poor with a frothy white head... very lager like. Aromas of corn, lemon, herbal and unripenned bananas. Very hoppy feel, good bitterness. Flavors are of llemon and pepper. Very dry finish and long lasting bitterness. Poudery mouthfeel, lightly bodied. Good summer beer, but very dissapointing.

larsga (4435) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 24, 2007
Big offwhite creamy head. Yellow body with light carbonation. Light marzipan and soft metallic hop aroma. Deep, sweetish light malt taste, harmonic and refreshing with fruity notes. Dryish softly metallic hop aftertaste. Quite nice, but definitely a light session beer.

Bottle at home. Golden yellow color. Citrusy scent. Citrus and lime flavors. Nice, complete texture. Solid punch to it but bit of a Duvel-lite in direct comparison. Still, very enjoyable.

faroeviking (8598) - Kongens Lyngby, FÖROYAR, FAROE ISLANDS - FEB 17, 2007
Never knew there was a green version until I saw it at Ølbaren. Pale hazy yellow with a decent head. Aroma of yeast, grains and some sweetness. Flavour of some yeastiness, malty, some sweetness, bit fruitish. Bit thin but ok beer. Must of course taste better when fresh and not past date.

330 ml bottle. Thanks to sk8viking for this rare treat. I think every rateable category would take a hit as compared to the more availiable Duvel. Still a decent beer. Thanks Rene

label says something about filtration. small bottle. definitely milder than the other bigger Duvel. inferior to it. Not bad, but more of a curiosity. wonder why they make it.
