3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 epassa (105) - Sao Paulo, BRAZIL - APR 24, 2007
Golden color with a nice white head, but not so good like in the red version.
Citric, hoppy, fruit and a little bit sweet. I prefer the original version.
3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 ThirstyBird (90) - Dusseldorf, GERMANY - FEB 20, 2012
Pours a bright, light yellow with a fluffy white heads that’s lasts quite long. Nice lacing. Some sweet malt, pepper, spice, grain. Peppery taste, with some malt sweetness and hop dryness follows up. Light/medium body with finely constructed carbonation. Overall pretty good but I prefer regular Duval.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 MrW (69) - Londerzeel, BELGIUM - APR 21, 2012
25cl bottle.
Yellow, nice head like the normal Duvel.
Refreshing nose, citrus, herbs.
Sweet, and dry (hop) taste. Some bitterness.
Some carbonation, maybe a bit less than the normal Duvel.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 FlySwatter (34) - USA - JUL 12, 2006
A weaker version of the Red Duvel. Lighter in color, body and flavor. Head doesn’t last as long. would much rather drink the other.

Served a 25cl bottle at my brothers house in Belgium - in the middle of a beer tasting - liked it very much, very similar to the regular Duvel.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 robklg (12) - Enschede, NETHERLANDS - AUG 26, 2011
It is surprisingly similar to the big brother duvel.. the lighter and fresher variant of the typtical duvel beer. In all aspects however it is lighter: color, taste, alcohol. I’m not so good at defining flavours, but reading other’s accounts, I agree mostly to ’grass’ and ’white bread’ flavours.
This is a very nice easy to drink beer... it can be great if you are looking for a low-alcohol beer that has a nice and special flavour.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Jazzy (11) - San Francisco, California, USA - APR 5, 2004
Gold in colour, nice white head. Aroma of light yeast, citrus, some alcohol. The flavor is lighter than the regular Duvel but still has plenty of yeastyness, citrus, sweetness and carbonation. Very good.
