Yellow appearance with decent head. Strong hoppy citrus, lemons aroma, grassy notes. Well rounded in the mouth, overall a very good Belgian Pale Ale.

Light golden pour with tons of white head and a nice soapy looking retention. Nose of yeast, hops, and straw. Taste has a little hop bite but mostly yeast, bready malts and maybe a touch of citrus.

2010 bottle.Got it three Years ago, thanks bro. Drank the same year three years ago and Iiked it better three years ago. Donít think it ages well. Aroma is grassy with a floral hint. appearance is a clear golden with a white head that leaves a nice lace in the glass. Taste is medium bitter with sweet malty undertone with a dry aftertaste. I can taste the high ABV 9,5%. Body is medium with a thin texture and lively carbonation

Bottle at Borefts 2013 shared by MrHangover, thanks! Pours hazy yellow with a medium white head. Aroma has some oranges, musty and cardboard. Taste has lots of cardboard, musty, too old.

Bottle share at Borefts 2013, courtesy of Mr. Hangover. 2010 vintage. Poured cloudy golden with a frothy white head. Aroma of sweet sourness. Medium body, gives the impression of being past itís best, not as enjoyable as the two more recent vintages.

Bottle shared at BBF13 thanks to Mrhangover. Pours cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. With the age the hops are gone from the aroma and replaced with a moldy, yeasty and caramel smell. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not one to age..

Bottle courtesy of MrHangover. Poured a cloudy light amber with a frothy broken white head. The aroma is acidic yeast and hops. The flavour is rich alcoholic bitter with a yeasty, bitter spicy flavour. A little too old. Didnít age well for me.

2/16/2011: Duvel Tripel Hop... Aroma: Big nose of floral and slightly citrusy hops. Appearance: Pale golden color, slightly hazy; huge, fluffy, off-white head; scant lacing; large torrents of carbonation. Flavor: Fruity with a touch of residual sweetness; delicate bitterness with nice floral and citrusy (tangerine, grapefruit) hop; bright, maybe sharp, alcohol; Champagne-like yeast. Palate: Light and airy; good level of fizzy carbonation lending to an great effervescence. Overall: Wow, really tasty! Complexity develops as it decants; highly alcoholic, but addictive; Duvel is the embodiment of basic, yet complex!

750ml corked and caged bottle (9.5% ALC./VOL.; Best before: 18 Mei 2013) shared by Tmoney99. Thanks Tom! Hop Selection: Saaz-Sazz, Styrian Golding, and Amarillo; Dry Hopping: Styrian Golding. Rating #399 for this beer.
