3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light yellow coloured beer. Good big head that holds very nice. Citrus and spices at first, slightly biterness after, herbs on the end.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a pale golden hue. Fairly active carbonation on this. Strong citrus on the palate with a spice bitterness. A little harsh towards the finish which is a little off balance to my mind. Classic Belgian yeast notes throughout. Not sure its worth the fuss however as it to my mind is a fairly bog standard tripel.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Clear golden pour with a huge white head. Amazingly intense citrus aroma of grapefruit and tangerine. A bit of tropical fruit, some pine, and a nice floral note. The sweetness of the malt only comes through a little bit. A moderate bitterness on the palate to go along with all citrus. Great grapefruit, some tangerine peel, and a nice subtle pine note. Slightly more sweet than the nose, but the hops still dominate.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Golden pour, fluffy white head. A nice mix of citrus, belgian yeast, some fruity esthers. Flavor is hop heavy, some yeast, fluffy texture. Good stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours clear pale blond with high white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of citrus (lemon-like). Taste is pretty much the same. Ligth body. Puzzling beer. Very hop-oriented. Somewhat refreshing. I had no clue this beer was so high on ABV, so I guess the alchool is well-hidden. Decent beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A nice upgrade to an otherwise pretty lame (IMO) Duvel. Hops dominate both aroma and flavor as they just cover any base malt that may be trying to shine out there. Nice use of Citra too as It didn’t feel harsh like a lot of Citra beer I’ve had. I felt it was pretty dry which is nice because I am really bored of over-the-top sweet/malty IPAs.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (750 ml). Thanks Maxim for sharing this one! Clear pale yellow with a small white head and no lacing. Aroma of Citra hops, citrus, malt and slight earthy notes. Taste is about the same but with a little more fruits. Mouthfeel is dry. Quite different from the original Duvel but just slightly better.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Nice pine aroma with fluffy head. Additional hops are not overly bitter but add citrusy/piney flavor. Still has the Duvel body, but with a nice snap to it.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33cl bottle @ home. Hazy a bit pale yellow color, full sized white head. Smell malts, hops, citrus, slightly metal. Taste malts, hops, citrus and again a bit metallic. Fresh and nice to drink though. Doesn’t taste like 9.5% ABV at all! Medium body, medium carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
light golden blonde coloured, thick dense head. Aroma has a lot of citrus, smells bitter and fresh. Like detergent (zeepsop). Tastes also citrus-like, dry, bitter, fresh. Alcohol shows up a little. Not bad but the citrus dominates a liitle bit too much.
