Excelente biere doree a la carbo genereuse. Des aromes frais de citron et d’herbes seches. La presence en bouche est superbe. Bonne rondeur, bel equilibre, une amertume genereuse qui tiens bien en longueur mais qui n’apporte pas une secheresse trop presente sur le final.

Citrius in the aroma, fruits, grapefruit but less than in the 2013 version, mealy (melig) apple, some candy.
Too bad that I got a dusty glass. Blond, white foamy head, huge sparkling.
Fruity, not much left of the original Duvel, some bitterness, a bit of white wine, a bit of pepper in the aftertaste.
Sharp fruity bitter towards the end. Too fizzy mouthfeel.

UPDATED: MAY 22, 2013 geel/gouden helder met schuimig witte kraag, mede het hoge co2 gehalte blijft de kraag voeden aroma: MEGA citrus achtig, echt ik ben nog nooit een bier tegengekomen welke zo fris naar citrus rook smaken: matig zoet, medium bitter medium body, glad, te hoog co2, afdronk: hoppgi, zoetig dit zou een fantastisch terrasbier wezen in de zomer/volle zon, maar nu even niet!

Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, rich citrusly hops, peach, orangepeel. Flavor of malt, citrusly hops orangepeel, little honey, peach. Thin to medium body, soft carbonation, light bitter and easy drinking beer. 150513

Bottle - 330ml. Hazy blond body with average carbonation and a decent white foamy head. Fresh hoppy aroma with herbal and bready hints. Alcohol is very well hidden. Its sharp hoppy taste carries herbal, coriander, and some subtle honeyish notes. Ends with a sharp, long, warming bitter/herbal finish. Very enjoyable all-season strong ale.

Poured with tons of head, golden clear color.... Not much of a nose, pretty bland taste too... Slightly disappointed

Cold bottle. Pale yellow, high carbonation, big enduring white head, lots of lacing. Looks great. Citra hops smell. Taste is peachy, fruit soda, lager and sparkling wine qualities. Flavour isn’t very intense. Easy drinking.

Gold pour, strong big white head, smells like grapefruit, tastes like grapefruit. Memorable!
