3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 ml bottle - pours clear intense hay yellow with a two finger steady head. Less creamy than the regular Duvel. Nose is very citrussy which strikes me a bit given the Sorachi Ace. Taste is nice malt with citrus hints - there is not much difference with the Citra imo.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
nice light beer (ebc 5-6) with proper, stable light head.
aroma of course dominated with hops, with spice of grapefruit, and herbs.
in taste I don’t feel really the influence of Sorachi Ace... a bit spicy, good malt background and proper hops character.
Compare to the Triple Hop 2012 this one is worse

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very good dense white head over classic central-bubblng pale golden beer, classic lace. Citrus, cheese, lemon-cheesecake, lemonbalm. Very complex, and one to stick on the S.A. Dry, Duvel-like, but deepened by a fresh, citrussy flavour. Fiinish is, however rather empty tastewise. Feels very carbonated; deceptively light body - or quasi-full attenuated. Aftertaste reclaims a bit of the initial citrussy near-acidity. Well - short of the superb nose, yet another one that will not change my mind about the S.A. hop: it’s the one for dark, compex barley wines, and wasted upon blondes, dumb or devilish.

Sample at Bierevents tasting at the Veluwse Heidebrouwerij
Hazy yellow, white head. Hop aroma of lychees, melon and some grass. Small "zuurtje" and some yeast. Taste like aroma. Good body and nice quite high carbo.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle, Fiere Margriet. Poured a golden body, typical Duvel, but the head seemed far more tame than my experiences with the original (both Duvel and Duvel Tripel Hop). Well carbonated though. Spicy grapefruit, maybe lime, in the aroma on a sweetish malty background, fresh, just a tad tangy, herbal hopfest in the nose! The taste is all about Sorachi Ace and I finally dig it! Bubblegum, slightly candyish, fresh, with a finely built malty background. Far, far better than expected. Glad to see a brewery as big as this still making some great stuff!

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours clear blond, with the lovely huge head of Duvel and the typical sparkling.
Aroma of fruits, grapefruit, summerfruits, grass, flowers.
Fruityness returns in the taste, somewhat the sour taste of grapefruit, lemon yet bitter.
Fizzy mouthfeel, fruity finish that slowly gets taken over by bitterness
Although this one has higher alcohollevel, it’s way more easy drinking than the original Duvel.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Blond with a nice foam head the foam is not like the classic Duvel the foam bells are bigger but stay good on the beer. Great fruity aroma Aldo the foam is locking in the aromas from the hops. The taste is bitter fruity with good balance and has a long after taste. Great beer for hop lovers. ---Rated By the Belleketels

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden coloured beer with a decent head. Holds ok, maybe collapse a bit to quick. Grassy good citrussy hoppy beer. Pretty well balanced. Good bitter dry finish.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle 33cl, cloudy yellow beer with huge head. Nose is on green hops with wet vegetable notes and classic Duvel hops. Aroma is acid and astringent like, lemon and green lemon notes, very bitter, green young fruit notes. Unusual, interesting but very sharp.
