For this 2014 edition, our brewers have selected Mosaic. This new US hop variety enhances the beer with a tangerine sweetness, hints of tropical fruit and an interesting blueberry flavour.

Slightly Better than the 2013 batch. Pale yellow murky beer, short lived white head. Aroma of belgian yeast, tropical fruit and fresh fruit. Yeasty and hoppy taste of tropical fruit, berries, citrus, some malt. Very refreshing and still somewhat heavy. Very nice.

Poured a cloudy yellow colour with a thick 2 inch white head that had great retention, but left spotty lacing. Light hoppy aroma with notes of herbal citrus fruits and hints of berry. Taste is spicy herbs with moderate bitterness and faint bits of sweet tropic fruits, but not much of the blueberry mentioned on the bottle. Crisp and light alcohol finish to this medium bodied and medium carbonated brew.

Beautiful clear golden Duvel pour with a big foamy white head. Smells like herbs, basil primarily, grassy. Sparkling mouthfeel, slightly oily, very crisp and dry, berry flavours, yeast, a bit of alcohol, medium bodied. Really nice.

Clearish fizzy gold covered by the usual boastful white head. Pretty complex nose showcasing a broad hop profile whilst not being explosive and actually feeling rather balanced for a hop forward ale. The pils malts provide cracker-like flavours that the yeast complements with its usual doughy touch and peppery closure herein combining with the earthy side of the hops which otherwise play mostly in the flowery and fruity registries. No dominating flavours and limited citrus or resin character; instead, we’re in mango, pineapple or white grapes territories. Fairly juicy and really lean and dry for a 9.5% ale - you would never believe that if it were not divulged. Interesting take and something I would be happy to drink regularly.

The beer is clear golden with a thin layer of head, it looks delicious. The taste is absolutely delicious. The fresh grass and blueberries that you smell in the beer, is also in the taste of the beer, which makes it a really fresh beer. The taste is not really bitter, it only has a bitter aftertaste.

Clear light golden with an uneven rocky white head. The hop forward nose has notes of tangerine and earthy bubblegum and blueberry bitter resiny tones. Odd. The flavor is a bit too bready and alcoholic with strong booze esters mixing with that odd belgian yeasty bubblegummy tone that also brings in some bitter mango and bitter blueberries from the hop selection. Quite strange and fruity and bitter and boozy.

Golden orange colour with big white head leaving lancing. Citric to yeast aroma. Medium body with citrus fruits from the hops. Pleasant balance of bitterness and malty taste. Nice one next to standart Duvel.
