COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For this 2014 edition, our brewers have selected Mosaic. This new US hop variety enhances the beer with a tangerine sweetness, hints of tropical fruit and an interesting blueberry flavour.

Guldfärgad med vitt skum. God och fräsch men lite tunn doft. Alkoholstark öl men med god styrka. Humlig, fruktig, söt, jästig, kryddig. Bra beska. Flaska från Systembolaget. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle with a massive thanks to old Dutch mate! Pours hazy yellow with a firm white cap on top. Nose is massively melon driven with mild zest and spices and that familiar belgian yeast of Duvel. Taste is rockmelon galore and fairly estery. Loads of lime and zest. The spice is on the finish and it is fairly sweet. Always a fan of Mosaic and this gives Duvel a very fresh and juicy twist. I like it

Erzengel (2708) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 20, 2014
The beer starts intense floral, a bit earthy. Quite sweet with hints of caramel and brown sugars, nice bitter-floral, which fits in perfect. The aftertaste has warming alcohol, smooth and fresh hops with a nice earthy, caramel-malty picture. Great!

Hazy gold pour with a tall, chunky off white head that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Aroma is big on floral, sweet citrus, prairie flower floral and spicy hops, some toasty malt and bready, peppery spice and stone fruit notes in there as well. Flavor is a little toasted grain, some oily grin notes that remind me a bit of sorghum and sesame and tons of hops, sweet citrus, floral, very passion fruit heavy tropical, spicy yeast, wet limestone, tart, under ripe stone fruit and a lingering toasted oily grain note, that doesn’t quite work for me, but doesn’t bring the experience down too far. Medium body, dry, but juicy entry, crisp feel throughout with a medium, blanketing and slightly sharp carbonation and the finish being a little more dry and a bit chalky.

Cheers Joe. Clear light golden pour with a large frothy white head. Very unusual malt aroma with influence of hop. Spicy flavour. Crisp texture. Warming finish. Not my thing

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle @ Duvelorium, Brugge. Pours clear golden with profuse airy, rocky white head. Clear aroma of hops and citrus, with fruity and malty touches. Bitter, hoppy taste permeating the rather complex sensation of fruit, malt and alcohol. Lingering bitter and slightly fruity aftertaste. Warning alcohol presence. Very good.

Where and how: TW, Bottle 330 ml.
Aroma honey with fresh cut citrus, grape skins (mosaic hops) and dry alcohol.
Appearance :
Top: medium plus, bright white, lasting.
Base: pale golden.
Palate : lighter bodied, frisky carbonation.
Taste: body might be light yet it is quiet flavourful. Hop feel is rather excellent. Sits well over prickly carbonation. With time heat of its potency shows its muscle.
Other notes Duvel Tripel MK 2.
