Thanks to bu11eye for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. The aroma is lemon, Belgian yeast and Belgian candi sugar. The flavor is more Belgian candi sugar as well as some citrus fruit, both lemons and oranges. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. I didn’t enjoy this as much as regular Duvel, but it was still very good.

(750ml bottle from batch 1 thanks to bu11zeye) opaque yellow pour with large lasting head. Nose of candi sugar and Belgian yeast. Taste of candi sugar, spicy, brown sugar with a very nice carbonation and a great yeasty finish. This stuff is super drinkable and delicious!

The taste has gentle malty backbone, rather sweet. Peppery and floral hops. Citric notes. Notes of fruit and yeast. The finish is somewhat bitter with notes of grassy hops and a hint of alcohol. Medium body and medium carbonation. Easy to drink.

25.4 oz bottle poured into a flute. Beautiful golden straw with an active meringue head and raucous carb. Craggy remains cling to the sides in clumps. Nose is fresh hay, orange blossom and dough. Smooth medium body with a crisp sparkle. Copious head settles to a yummy whipped cream dollop. Taste is orange peel, dried pineapple, toffee and grass. A wonderful beer experience in every way.

Bottle. Pale yellow with a very large, white head. Smell is relatively weak, with nice floral notes of hop. Taste is rather sharp and fruity with some acidity and alcohol. A lot of esters and some pear juice. A bit sharp, but a good and interesting beer.
