Bottle - 750mL corked and caged. Front label shows "18 mei 2010". Golden pour with a tall, fluffy white head. Nose is aromatic hops, flowery hops, light spicy notes, subtle yeast and dried tropical fruit. Taste is big floral hops, spicy hops, yeast, dried fruit, powdery malt, light alcohol and candy notes. Body is medium with a strong, effervescent carbonation and a pleasant dryness. More spicy and floral hops during the finish, which are more bitter as well, dried fruit notes, spice notes, candied fruit, bigger alcohol and sponge cake.

Thanks to hopdog for sharing. Pours a lightly hazy golden with a large foamy/bubbly white head that left some sticky lacing. Aroma was a nice mix of some noble and citrusy American hops. Like the Amarillo touch. Malt was basically bready with some Belgian spicy yeast character coming through. Flavor was a slightly stepped up version of Duvel with extra hops. Nice choice of hops and overall a fine beer.

750 ml bottle shared by goldtwins. Pours a hazy pale gold with a moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of Belgian yeast with some fruitiness and a bit of spice. The flavor is Belgian yeast with some fruitiness and mild spice followed by a solid hops kick. Moderate bitterness at the finish and dries out on the palate. Solid.

Pours gold into a tulip. Bright white meringue head with excellent retention craters and conglomerates as it slowly recedes leaving spiders. Saaz and amarillo aromas. Dry with upfront sweet caramel turning peppery and hot in the lasting resin finish.

Poured from a corked and caged 750 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy golden color with a pillowy white head. Aroma is off bread and hops. The taste is classic Duvel with a bit more bitterness. Not as bitter as I had hoped, but good. The alcohol comes through as it warms up, but this is very nice brew. Should age nicely.

Bottle. Pours cloudy gold, with a white head. Aroma is hops, lemon/lime, and grass. Flavor is hops, lime, grass, and alcohol. Goes down easy for 9.5%, ending bitter, but in a good way. Not as hoppy as expected. Nice.

750ml C & C Bottle: GUSHER! Very sweet aroma of hops, citrus, apples, fruit nectar, Belgian yeast, and fruit. Poured yellow/gold in color with a huge, creamy, loose, what head that diminished but lasted throughout. Hazy. Very sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is medium to heavily sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of alcohol, Belgian yeast, fruit, marzipan, hops, and a hint of berries. Medium body. Fizzy, tingly, then very dry texture. Lively carbonation. Light to medium sweet, medium bitter, hops, Belgian yeast, fruit, and light alcohol finish is bone dry. 9.5% is hot in the flavor and palate. Disappointed.
