Dutch Ratebeer Meeting Baarn. Hazy golden coloredm thick white head. Strong hoppy nose, flowery, fruit. Hopbitter flavor. Balanced, lasting alcoholic finish. Better than the regular Duvel? Yes, i believe so, the extra hops work. But for three times the price i think i’ll stick to the regular Duvel.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 mrhoppy (649) - Santa Clara, California, USA - MAR 27, 2012
I really like this. I scored this at a specialty liquor store for $12. Shouldn’t really be called Duvel because it tastes nothing like it. I can barely taste the Pilsner malts. Which is a plus for me. Soft and creamy. Hoppy and delicious. Everlasting lace. Sweet, honey, spicy and lemon. Although this is a high quality brew and usually goes for $20 or more. I would probably skip it and buy some tasty less expensive brews.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Marsiblursi (2675) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - MAR 4, 2012

Tones of dough, almond paste, fruit, citrus, alcohol, spices, grainy bread and yeast. The mouthfeel is round and tiny sticky with a medium carbonation. The finish holds acid, alcohol and dough. Medium bodied.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 cmonster (682) - Portland, Oregon, USA - FEB 26, 2012
Bottle served in a Duvel tulip. Bottled on 18 mei 2010. Cloudy yellow-orange with champagne bubbles, and a medium-sized fluffy white head. Excellent retention and heavy cumulus lace. Floral, grass, fruit, yeast, and pepper aromatics. Delicate and dynamic. The palate matches the nose, continuing the hops and yeast parade. Medium-light body, yeasty texture, heavy carbonation, and and oily-dry finish.
