jkaiser (52), USA Jul 26, 2008 Mind blowing. Monster head and lacing. Gorgeous white blonde color. Medium bodied hops and malts. But the third componant of yeast is other worldly. Simply the best. Jonte (328), Gothenburg, Sweden Jul 21, 2008 Bottle. Pale yellow color with a big white head. Aroma of apples, spices, yeast, alcohol and sourness. Sweet, sourish and bitter taste with notes of fruit, spices, alcohol, yeast and grain. Crisp with lively carbonation. I find this beer to be a little bit too much on it´s own, but very good with food. BoBoChamp (255), Gent, Belgium Jul 20, 2008 33cl, from De hopduvel Gent, complex, not easy to drink, clear, rocky head, good brew, but not a topper albertane (218), Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England Jul 17, 2008 This yellow bottled beer has an enormous fluffy head. The aromas and flavours seems very typically Belgian to this drinker more accustomed to British and American beers: slightly sour and spicy and quite fizzy on the tongue. It’s well made -- I can’t really fault it -- but I don’t think I’d seek it out. Borresteijn (105), Amstelveen, Netherlands Jul 16, 2008 Bottle @ home. This stuff is native to my fridge. Beautiful golden yellow colour, enormous thick and rocky white head. Aroma of yeast, some malts and fruits. Flavour is sharp/peppery, malty, bittersweet and when it warms up a bit sour. Long lasting alcohol finish with a little bitterness. Mouthfeel is soft though, making it highly drinkable. This one slaps you right in the face, be careful!
