Cloudy gold with a big, bubbly white head that disappears pretty quickly. Nose is all malt/Belgian yeast - banana bread and a bit of spice. Taste is a sweet malt, lots of pungent yeast, and a finish that’s incredibly crisp, and slightly dry. High carbonation helps this stuff go down way too easy, and the alcohol is barely noticeable. Very nice.

A classic beer, spawning several imitators. A strong heavily hopped, triple fermented ale. Has a big rocky and firm head that last for the whole glass and clings to the sides. A pale, slightly cloud golden color disguises this rich and highly alcoholic beer (6.8 wt, 8.5 vol). Flavor is yeasty and hoppy, but malts are detectable. Remarkable easy to finish for a high alcohol beer. Can either be served at cellar temp like an ale or cold like a lager.

Pour from 330 ml bottle. big foamy white head.straw colour, clear. Aroma is Belgian yeast. flavour is not at all sweet, dry and alcohol finish. restrained for a Belgian, fruity esters are subtle, the balance is nice. very high carbonation mouth feel, I prefer a little less. Moderate bitter finish. Very drinkable for 8.5%. Very good.

Malty aroma. Pee like appearance with a white head made of mainly tiny bubbles with sporadic large bubbles. Constant buzzing noise of bursting bubbles. Two main characteristics. The alcohol taste. And what I call the "duvel" taste which is very much metallic. Which I subconsciously learnt to fear when I was a kid cause I realized it would lead to a bad hangover.
