So, this beer is great. Clearly my favorite beers are Belgians, however this is just really damn good. The company is a bit pretentious, but the beer just really makes that ok. I had this with BeerBaron617 tonight, and we both felt it was just awesome. It poured a nice transparent yellow with a white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is nice and yeasty and has maybe a hint of white grapes. This is very nice. The carbonation is really prevalent in the beer , and it has a great fruity taste - not too yeasty at all. They just make a damn good beverage!

It poured a cloudy yellow liquid with a huge foam with lots of big bubbles. As the foam receded it left big chunks of foam on the side of the glass. Despite the boring yellow colour it looked very appealing. My first thought when I smelled the beer was that it had a spicey scent, might be coriander and pepper. A couple of tries later I get a hint of white whine and some yeast. Not bad even though quite faint. The first mouthfull was smooth although fizzy. I remember it to have allot more carbon but maybe it dissapeared while I was taking pictures, sniffing and writing. Might be a good tip for the future to let it rest for a minute before drinking. Anyway, back to the tasting. Just as with the aroma it also had a spicey flavour with some pepper and coriander. It also had some yeast, hints of white whine and hops even though it has a mild bitterness. It finishes up and leaves a trace of warm alcohol at the back of my mouth. A pretty decent beer although it got kind of boring after a couple of sips.

This is a great beer, if all you want is a quick drink. It’s only special characteristic being it’s rather beautiful head. Otherwise, it’s much like a good lager, but strong.

Pour reveals a clear golden, bubbly ale. Great head, very dry and full, incredible lacing. Aroma is of citrus, earthy spices, hops. Taste is crisp and spicy, some bitterness on the after taste. Alcohol is noticeable. Very drinkable.

Pours clear golden into trappist glass... a lively, frothy head billows, with great retention and foamy lace left stuck to the sides. The nose immediately hits with banana. First, the mouthfeel is extraordinarily light and zesty for the ABV... It almost has a hefe essence. The tastes integrate superbly, with banana, cloves, and some light hopping with light spices to close the finish. If I’m looking for it, I can detect a hint of alcohol, but it’s such an easy drink, the complexitites are impeccably integrated.

Thick creamy white head. Aromas of herbs, citrus, hops. Intense taste, some spices (pepper, coriander(?)). Great finish.

Pours straw yellow with a big white head. Aroma is spices, yeast very aromatic. Taste is yeast and spice up front, but a bit of a sour metallic taste is present. Still a very nice beer.

Another refreshing beer. Much lighter than the Quadruppels but a winner nonetheless. I quantify this as my Belgiun light beer. Less malt but a great drink all around.
