Bouteille de 33cl. Couleur jaune pale aux reflets verdâtres, mousse assez abondante de belle tenue. Arôme de céréales, pointe d’ herbes, bière très sèche qui peut évoquer le champagne. Belle carbonnation. Trouvée à l’ entrepôt - Courcelles les Lens.

Butelka. Bardzo jasny, slomkowy kolor, wysoka, acz nierowna i znikajaca dosc szybko piana. Aromaty stajenne lekkie, slodowe i owocowe (brzoskwinie glownie) duzo mocniejsze. W smaku podobnie - slodowe, pelne piwo, triplowo smakujace, nieco przyprawowosci, nieco owocowosci. Bardzo dobre.

Purchased from town earlier today. At the register, I had been carded because of my "really youngish face", which only saw bit of joyless age from my handsomely trimmed Eastern European beard, the second admirable thing people notice about my face. The first would of course be my searing eyes. Apparently they let you know who I am before my words do. But, I digress. Was $9.99 for the 750 mL bottle. I honestly don’t mind dropping $15 for the 4pack, but those little totes can only be found, at least in these parts, in craft beer stores on the bottom-shelf Belgian row. Dear lord were the Whole Foods on the West Coast a whole new breed of animal. It was embarrassingly insane what I could walk away with from their AZ/CA locations. To oversized snifter, it pours a lemon chiffon- and effervescent orange-tinted chartreuse yellow with which a sudsy snowy white head 1 and hakf fingers in length stood. Aromas of white peppercorn, crushed coriander, fresh garden sage, pinot grigio/white wine lees, pine cones, sourdough culture, truffles, avocado meat, green cardamom, Belgian yeast, rice flour, and blanched peas. Tastes the same with the addition of underripe tangerine, toasted pine nuts, spent grain/wheat, and sweat. Classic spicy Belgian yeast character with notes of champagne and musky hops. Has a buttery mouthfeel, too. Man, oh, man. I’m in love. Again.

Pours a nice golden color with white head that sticks around throughout. Smell is yeasty with a bit of sweetness, picking up some nice fruit on the nose...banana and possibly some tart cherry? Nice Belgian double taste with lots of tart bitterness at the end. Medium to light mouthfeel with good amount of carbonation. Overall a good beer if you are a fan of Belgian beers.

Klares Goldgelb. Nur Hopfenaromen, leicht blumig. Ausser Bitter nicht viel, eher wässerig. Erinnert an Lager, irgendwie langweilig.

Smell and taste of hop overwhelwing, a bit too much. Other tastes absent or supressed. A general commercial brew but nothing special in my opinion.

Golden colored, bright to clear (even though secondary fermentation is in bottle, but yeast flocks and sticks to bottom real nice). Heavily carbonated, real thick and persistent white foam. Smell / taste: pear, clove, even a bit spicy (like pepper). Dry finish. Doesn’t feel / taste like a beer high in alcohol, but it is. Classic.

Grand classic beer from Belgium! Tulip glass only, Really special beer. Really Emperor status in its class. High alcohol, superb color, excellent head. Aroma no need to describe.

Shiny golden clear with a white and thick head. I poured it in the glass leaving 1cm on the bottom of the bottle to avoid mixing the yeast with the beer while drinking as recommended. The aroma reminds me of zest and rust. Even if doing so, the taste is quite bitter at the end but pleasant and inviting for another sip, thanks to its carbonation also. Served chilled with this taste and fizziness it almost feels like a summer beer, despite being quite alchoolic!
