Pours beautiful golden with great head. Strong nose, a bit like like cream corn. Medium mouthfeel and high carbonation. Upfront spicy flavours followed by pleasant bitterness. Great beer

.33l bottle poured in a glass Golden colour with whitehead that diminishes quickly. Citrus-like flavour. doesn’t feel too heavy, for it’s 8% vol.

Bottle, served in tulip glass. Herbal aroma, with a yeasty "aftersmell" (~aftertaste). The aroma is already quite fully developed, increasing the pleasant anticipation. The appearance is golden, with a dense head. The delightful taste is complex and developing, with a bitter ostinato and various sweet tones to it, with peach-like flavour and strong finish. The carbonation is medium to high. The texture is rather creamy... similar to other Belgian ales, for that matter. Overall, a very nice experience with this beer.

Pale gold, a little hazy, with a fluffy white head. Banana, yeasty, funky, lemon aromas, a little spicy. Taste is a little tart, lemon, funky, biscuity, finishes with a little bitterness too

Złote piwo z obfitą pianą zdobiącą szkło, która opada do cienkiej warstewki. Aromat owocowy, głównie winogrona i gruszki.

A 330ml bottle dated best before November 2015 and poured into a Duvel tulip glass. The beer poured a slightly hazy golden straw yellow colour with maybe just under a two finger creamy white head that dissipated slowly leaving nice stringy lacing. Main aromas of citrus lemon and banana with slight funk followed by some lighter grassy and flowery smells. Tastes starts with bitter, tart and slightly sour citrus lemon, pear and apple followed by banana and honey sweetness. Light to medium bodied with high carbonation and a dry finish. Overall this was not a bad beer. But if I was to compare to others in this style, off the top of my head I do prefer both Delirium Tremens and La Chouffe before Duvel and unfortunately for Duvel, both of them are as widely available in Hong Kong.

One of the best specialty beers on the market , but it has too much carbon dioxide.
