"i like the head, but after that it really did nothing for me that would make it stand out from any other belgian blonde/strong. That said, it’s pretty good, just not unique."

Não faz muito meu gosto. Não achei nada demais na cerveja. Não vale a compra, pois além de nada demais tem um preço alto ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Classic 330ml bottle poured in a Grimbergen chalice. As mentioned by others, it’s difficult to review such a "simple" and "popular" beer which is, at the same time, so fantastic. A: Pours a pale yellow hazy color, nothing special. However, its head is impressively big (actually, huge), bubbled, creamy and persistent. Tons of lacings are left S: Smell is a bless. Really. Spicy. Stingy. Citrus. Sweet grains. Special attention to the Belgian yeasts and citrus and grassy hops T: Taste follows the nose. I mean, exceptional. Sweet grains, Belgian yeasts and hops, oh yeah, wonderful hops. In overall, a quite dry beer in the palate. The bitter aftertaste is just a must M: Heavy creamy body. Huge carbonation. Excellent bitterness O: The truth is that its taste is simply extraordinary: Delicious malt taste and very bitter end. Its mouthfeel and drinkability are just perfect to a beer with such a high ABV. Therefore, IMHO this beer has a good reputation just because it deserves it... Cheers [ BA Review @ 1/9/2010 ]

Excelente, sem tanto amargor, mas muito lúpulo! Aparência com certa turbidez, e bem aromática.

Fruity, warm aroma of biscuits and bakery. Looks like a foamy pilsner, complex alcohol-intensive taste with vinous fruity and dry overtones. Changes during the tasting experience - fruity at the onset and more alcohol after a while. A certified classic.

Bottle. Poured a warm gold, with white fully head. Boozy aromas of wheat, stone fruit and malt. Smooth as all get out. Boozy flavours, but good stuff. Mellow and supple and lovely.

Wygląd: Jasnozłote, słomkowe. Jak naleje się bez drożdży to klarowne z iskrą. Obfita, trwała, biała piana, bardzo drobnopęcherzykowa.
Aromat: Typowy aromat belgijskiego ale’a. Brzoskwinia, cukier, kwiatowy, owocowy, minimalny słodki aromat alkoholu.
Smak: Kwiatowe, lekko słodkie ale z wytrawnym finiszem. Brzoskwinia, pomarańcza, lekka ziołowa goryczka z alkoholowym posmakiem.
Odczucie: Wytrawne, wysoko nasycone CO2
Całość: Klasyczny golden ale, bardzo dobry, zdradliwie pijalny.
