3.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Well what can I say? Duvel is so highly rated, but just does not fit my taste. The beer is good, don’t get me wrong, but does not blow me away as a king of beers. The aroma was great with a moderate yeasty kind of a doughy smell to it. A hint of honey was also detected and lasted all the way through the drink. The look and appearance is what really amazed me about the beer as it had a frothy fully lasting white head to it, and looked as if it were dancing in the glass. The golden hue was sparkling all the way down to the bottom and was clear as can be. Once I tasted it, it struck me with a heavy acidic flavor both in the beginning and the end. The yeast comes through with a hint of citrus and a long finishing flavor that lingers on the plate. Almost like a slight metallic finishing flavor to it. It had a light dry body that fizzed in my mouth. Again it seemed to have a bit of a metallic aftermath to it. A beer that would be good in paring with food, but not one I would chug. It does have some nice refreshment value to it. A beer that is to be celebrated and enjoyed, however, not an everyday type of beer I would consider. Drink on.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma: wheat, bread, cereal, fruits, spicy. No hints of alcohol despite of its high alcohol volume. Not a lot of aroma.
Appearance: light yellow color, slightly hazy, huge white creamy head with a very good retention and nice Brussels’ lace.
Taste: medium-to-high sweetness, light-to-medium bitter, moderately sour.
Palate: medium body, oily texture, lively carbonation, spicy, long slightly bitter finish.
Overall: Great appearance, quite good flavor, quite good finish. No hints of its high alcohol content, except for the warming effect. Crisp. Thirst quenching. Good for a hot day.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
0,33l bottle. Cloudy yellow colour with medium lasting huge white head. Aroma: Flowers, yeast, herbs, citrus, candy sugar. Vivid. Taste: Sweet/sour well balanced start, than the sour taste drops and a light sweet mouthfeel comes with a light but intensifying bitter feel. Well made. Medium body with fizzy carbonation. Medium lasting bitter finish. A very good belgian classic.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Gutes Bier!

3.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottiglia.

2.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
330ml bottle: Pours a clear straw with epic white head that persists. Aroma of rust is overpowering everything. Slight breadiness perhaps. Tastes of bread, some fruit. Bitterness not very prominent. Very crisp. Medium body and high carbonation. Overall not bad to taste but the rusty nose was a bit off-putting.

Kolor z?oty, klarowny. Piana bia?a, wysoka, zbudowana z drobnych p?cherzyków, bardzo g?sta i trwa?a. Pozostawia mnóstwo zdobie? na szkle.
Aromat chmielowy, slodowy z przyprawowymi akcentami.
Wysycenie wysokie, pasuje. Alkohol idealnie schowany.
