Lemon, some grapefruit. Not what I was expecting. Like a pale lager only better. Smooth, and the high alcohol content is masked by the drink-ability.

Enjoyed @ Lithos bar, Rhodes, Greece in proper glassware. Pours a clear golden with a huge, White head. Aroma has belgian yeasty esters with clove, sweet, candied pear, banana, pale malts, grains, slight wheat maybe, and quite a lot of hops. Taste is sweet, spicy and fruity. Slight alcohol, but still very little for the 8,5% abv. Hoppy bitter finish. Average to High carbonation, surprisingly light body. Not bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nearly 25 years ago, in the Beer Engine on Wakefield Westgate, this is the one that set me off, looking beyond my own doorstep, for beers that were completely new to me. A few beers later and it still appeals. Looks great. Smells and tastes good. Always happy to drink a Duvel...

Nice clear pale yellow color with slight white head. Crisp yet smooth flavor with a nice finish. Not a very strong flavor but it is very pleasant and enjoyable. No harshness or aftertaste. A good refreshing beer.

Pale yellow, slightly hazy with tall, white, lacing head. Citrusy, yeasty aroma. Taste is similar, with a crisp finish. Nice.

Nice blonde quite dry and hoppy. Sweet corn flakes, wonderful nose. Mid body lower carbonation. Nice and hoppy like a czech pils but heavier and sweeter, plus a long finish. I know it’s world famous but it’s very much worth revisiting.

Schiuma bianca, fine e persistente. Colore giallo tendente al dorato. All’olfatto, aroma di crosta di pane e miele, fiori bianchi e frutta a pasta gialla (principalmente albicocca), qualche lieve nota speziata. Al palato, corpo medio un grande equilibrio nonostante la connotazione dolce.

Bottle: Hazy yellow color with a tall frothy white head and strong lacing and lively carbonation.. Aroma is floral and citrus hops, malty biscuit/grainy, and some spices. The taste is light bitterness with a slightly sweet finish.
