Great, great belgian Ale. Barley wine notes, with refined malts on the tase and good bitterness on the retrotaste. A photo worth head, that keeps growing, therefore good carbonation. A not so good trace of excessive sweetness on the lips and a bit pricey in Latin America, but nonetheless the world wide flagship of belgian ales.

Bottle - pours cloudy straw colour with a crisp white head which fills up the glass. Aroma of berries, banana, bready yeast and some hints of bubblegum. Taste of berries with hints of blackcurrant, followed by yeast and bread with some raspberry and peppermint hints and light bitterness coming out towards the end. Fairly spicy. Light body, high carbonation.

Bottle. Hazy yellow with an enormous white head. The aroma is fruity, yeasty, spiced. The flavour is quite sweet with yeast and lemon-ish fruity notes, high carbonation, very pleasant for a warm summer night in Rotterdam.

Aroma of candy sugar, banana, coconut, and bubblegum. Appears clear gold with a giant frothy head and beautiful lace. Taste sweet of bubblegum and banana with a balanced grassy mild bitterness. Palate is fizzy, filling, and beautiful. Overall, this is a masterpiece.

Bottle. Candi sugar, light fruit aroma. Lots of foam on pour. Light gold. Full body. Strong candi sugar, brown sugar followed by bubblegum, mild banana, apricot, bread. Only barely notice the ABV. Complex and delicious.

Bottle, 33cl. Pours exceptional pale, yellow color with some haziness to it. Very rich, and aggressive carbonated. Be cautious. Voluminous, airy but foamy off-white head with moderate lace. A lovely yeast sensation hits you at first balanced by refreshing citrus, banana, hops, wheat along with some sour acid towards the end. Yeast, honey malty sweetness, fresh wheat, unripe bananas, coriander, little spicy flavour. Very beautiful balanced overall, crisp middle and dry finish. Warming alcohol taste towards the end, but not overwhelming. Smooth, oh so smooth. Sure rebuy. Absolutely.
