Blond ale, in bottle. Okey head, aroma is mostly hoppy citrusy/fruity. Leaves bitterness. one is enough

Bottle. Light golden, hazy, average to large and mostly diminishing head. Moderate, malty - some wheat and lightly sweetish aroma, light fruitiness and spiciness (coriander). Body is medium, malty - some wheat and lightly sweetish, light fruitiness and faint alcohol. Finish is average, malty - some wheat and lightly sweetish, light fruitiness and spiciness, light alcohol. OK Belgian strong ale - no faults but really lacks character (i.e. "8,5% that goes down the hatch easily").

Moins puissante en aromes que les triple Hop, la Duvel classique est malgre tout une surperbe biere.

Had this on several occasions and in several sizes, mostly in a Duvel glass. The most occasional drink of em all - steady high quality has made this an outstanding average beer compared to other industrial brands. Positioning and value proposition is unique and many tried but no one came close to the original taste. Pours clear crisp golden with a huge white head. Nose is bitter lemon zeste, a bit of yeast and some malt. Light body but lots of carbonation and gentle sweetness and bitterness. Shallow taste, little citrussy taste, yeasty, but overall a great thirst quencher.

Bottle @ home.

When I get the chance and find this beer I buy a ton of it. It is a fun beer to serve and give to friends/ family. The head on this beer is large and takes a bit of getting use to but it's worth it. Try it out! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle - Moderate aggressive pour. Beautiful snow white head was long lasting. Pear color liquid. Aroma screams of yeast with a bit of sweetness remaining in the nose. Full body and very nice on the pallet. Taste is full of yeast and bread notes and just what you would expect from a great Belgium strong ale. Alcohol is well hidden. Finish oddly enough reminds me of a whiskey barrel. Again, great body on this beer. Not too complex, but very enjoyable to drink again and again. Wouldja - Yes!

Smells sweet and almost like sake. Pours clear golden with a thin white head, good carbonation. First sip is bland but it finishes with a dry rice flavor.

Light golden body with just a minimal cloudiness. Head is massive and lasting. Nose is covered by the lucrative foamy head at first, later yielding mild aromas of yeast, sour dough and fruits. Taste is strong and balances nicely between bitter and sweet and finishes with the warmth of alcohol. Carbonation is lively and bubbles keep flowing from the bottom of the glass.
