Bloody hell. Massive head that stuck about and looked like beaten egg white. The colour is healthy urine and the taste is not. Rather the taste is quite good, in fact a very lovely taste. Sad that I only got one bottle from the store (Amatos in Leichhart) because I could stick on this shit all night: not a "tasters" beer but a drinking one. Awesome.

What can I say, it’s Duvel, one of the greatest beers in the world. Spritzie, effervescent, and delicious.

330ml bottle poured into chalice. Great hoppy and yeasty aroma. Pours a light yellow gold with a rapidly dissipating head. Great watery mouthfeel with an excellent amount of carbonation. Flavor of slight hops and great yeast. A wonderful Belgian.

A high cream of large bubbles and white coloring of great-looking and durable as well. Beer with the color yellow cloudy gold. Light to medium body, light carbonation and a slightly metallic and astringent taste. It has a complex flavor that at first feels a growing slightly sweet, sour and bitter, and slightly sour end. All this together with a long duration. Its aroma demosntra a light malt and fragrant hops. The yeast takes us a little saltiness. We can enjoy a honey, a woody, and alcohol is conspicuous only in the heat that urges the throat. A beer flavor and complex aroma, balanced, and unmistakable.

Sampled form a 33cl bottle. Pale yellow with a big white head. Spicy and malty aromas. The taste overwhelms the drinker with flavours of banana, coriander and cloves. Great mouth feel. The finish is dominated by lemony yeast flavours and pilsner-style hops. A really excellent ale in every way, one of my favourites.

Pours a clear golden with a frothy lively head. The nose is spicy with Belgian yeast and hints if alcohol. There are some peach aromas too. Heavy taste with lots of spiciness, white pepper, cloves. Followed by a light hoppy bitterness and a warming finish with some alcohol notes. Excellent classic Belgian ale!

The color is inocent - and that’s why in Belgium they call these beers the diabolic beers. When you pour them, you might think of an ordinary pilsener, but beware, they are strong! Very strong! And the head of a Duvel is already a myth in itself. Bright white, voluptious and stable! The aroma is much bigger than the bottle :-) Wonderful flowery hop notes mix up with exotic fruit hints and suptle spicyness. Green bananas, almonds, lemon, name it - Duvel got it. Together with a heavy alcohol taste, this beer is a true aperitif. Still one of the best "diabolic" beers from Belgium. Classic, authentic and delicious!
