3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 20, 2014 Bottle - pours yellow/white wheaty light with fluffy head, not a strong as I expected but good nonetheless. Aroma is wheaty slight hop and yeasty with a stinging aroma I struggle to place. Taste is bitter with a dry mouthfeel same sensation as ruby grapefruit juice. Overall beer did have an intersting sting or bitter zestyflavour which was quite pleasant. Good but not te best!

Cerveza con un marcado gusto a alcohol y muy carbonatada a mi gusto. Igual sigue siendo una buena cerveza

Can’t get sick of it, after gallons and gallons...the best of its kind, the devil of strong ales !
By the way, Duvel is NOT served on tap.

Bottle, 33 cl. Strong, but not overwhelming. Overall well balanced, nice in its entity.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma has notes of citrus and malt. Cloudy and strawcoloured, with a long foamy head. Intense medium-dry taste with significant bitterness and acid. The alcohol is noticeable. Light body with lively carbonation. Long finish. This is a good beer but not my favourite kind of Belgian ale.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma of Belgian yeast, some lime. Pours golden with very nice white head. Taste is medium sweet with peach, spices and citrus with bitter finish. Alcohol is perfectly hidden. A classic Belgian Golden Ale always stays in a good shape.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
330 ml bottle. Pours a cloudy, pale yellow with a huge, long lasting, white head that laces. Yeasty aroma with spice. Sweet fruity flavour with yeast and a dry, spicy, alcohol finish. Medium body with an oily texture and average carbonation.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
The aroma I get is pure Belgian yeast with a little bit of lemon and malt. Brew is a pilsner yellow, while the head is a lot like bubble bath. The taste is very pleasant and smooth. Yeasty all the way, sweet but not too sweet and crisp. That malt comes across a bit fruity to me, as some do, but it almost has a citrus hint to it. Light oily film develops in the mouth, but it’s not unpleasant. Smooth finish, in other words. It doesn’t look like much, doesn’t have much in the way of aroma, but I could drink this stuff all day. Fantastic!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma frutal muy agradable. Sorprende la carbonatación que ayuda a llevar a lengua y paladar un extraodinario y complejo sabor que llena completamente

Pours beautiful golden with great head. Strong nose, a bit like like cream corn. Medium mouthfeel and high carbonation. Upfront spicy flavours followed by pleasant bitterness. Great beer
