COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle conditioned.
Four generations of the Moortgat family have brought together Pilsner malts, Bohemian hops, and a unique yeast strain to create this intense, aromatic and beguiling ale. This Belgian favourite is best enjoyed chilled (40 - 50 F) with discerning friends or good-looking strangers.

Tulip snifter from bottle. A: absolutely amazing, lemon, coriander, orange peel, hay, grass, slight pine, and slight lime. App absolutely gigantic head- 5 finger with 1 finger beer, perfectly white head, and perfectly hazy golden wheat color. T: slight sweetness and bitterness, some lime, lemon, orange, tree bark, coriander, and white grape juice. P: tremendous bubbles, exceptionally smooth all the way through, and an incredibly long lasting aftertaste of slightly dry pinneapple juice. Absolutely prefect! My first and only 100 point beer! I have rated well over 1500 but not in this app and it is not possible to transfer my excel document to this app. A must try and Love!

bread, citrus, dough, golden, sparkling, frothy, white foam, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, medium sourness, full body, lively, long finish that evolves through many flavors Duvel is an amazing beer that I feel even inexperienced drinkers can enjoy due to its unique and delicious taste.

For me, the best beer in the world. This is a blond beer with a perfect taste but should be served cold and its own glass.

UPDATED: AUG 11, 2008 Bottle from supermarket. This is pure class. Pale gold beer with frothy white head. Sour, yeasty, hoppy aroma. Fruity and malty flavours compete with hints of spice and citrus. Very lively on the tongue balances the significant body leaving you thinking you’re drinking something lighter. As a consequence, it can be dangerous to drink more than one or two in an evening. Wonderful stuff.

For a belgium beer that is easy to find this is incredible. Complicated candly like taste hits the toungue with creamy hopps. Just perfect.. 5

World class. Extremely drinkable, multiple layers of complexity as it warms and refreshing. A great standby beer and for it’s availability is one of the best.; certainly the best strong golden ale of all time. Can’t go wrong with this one at any time.

There can be no better beer than Duvel, because it is not possible. True - there are other categories of beer, and even some other Belgians deserving of high honour. But Duvel has tapped into the sublime. It is champagne. It is platinum. It is arctic. I am not worthy to have it, just on any occasion. When I see a Duvel, my hands jerk momentarily toward my temples, as if in some effort to contain my soul.
