Bottle. Poured a light clear sparkling yellow with a large white frothy head and had poor lacing. The aroma was of a soapy yeast, herbal hops and a straw malt with notes of a blend of spices. It tasted light and mildy acidic in the beginning and finished with a nice light bitter hop flavor. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery/dry in texture. Overall a nice light, tasty, refreshing belgian Golden ale.

330ml bottle, pours a hazy light gold with large white head that lasts well. Aroma is Belgian yeast and a crisp tart green apple note. Has a definite light sourness going on and a bitter tonic water and bitter lemon flavour. Very crisp, very different but not entirely my thing. High carbonation.

OK ,Ok I have a dangerous love of Duvel ..Its been a go-to for me for years ...Liquid cocaine in a bling Tulip glass ... It was THE Belgian beer that got me appreciating and exploring Belgian beers . This rating is from a 750ml. It no longer has a cork which I find a slight hindrance - I like the cork notes it used to offer . It pours out fucking beautiful in the duvel glass .. fucking huge white head - above a golden colour ..that resembles Coors light . But this does not smell or taste like Coors , no, no ! White pepper , must , bready malt , spice , apple, banana ,pear ...raw booze . Peppery boozy palate ends dry .. I love Duvel like a crack whore loves her crack and cock.

Cerveza que se nota que es belga, gran cuerpo y sabor, amargor justo que deja una sensación agradable en la boca.

Slightly hazy light yellow with a big white creamy head. Aroma is quite faint, mostly light malt, slightly tart, some herbal hops. Taste is yeasty, peppery, herbal, bitter and fresh. Medium body, high spritzy carbonation, dry. Herbal bitter after taste.

Dorata, velata dai lieviti in sospensione, bellissima schiuma bianca molto persistente.

UPDATED: MAY 21, 2015 Uitgeschonken in origineel Duvel bierglas.

Nice strong beer. Expected more, though. Tastes a bit like a strong version of a Pilsener. Not bad - just not special enough.

A little hazy, golden color, and big white head. Aroma of hops and malts, fresh. Tastes dry, malty with some yeast notes. High carbonation, medium body.

Bottle at home split with Sarah, Trying to catch up on the most rated beers. Clear greenish pale yellow coloured pour with a big frothy pure white head. Aroma is belgian yeast, bit lagery, green apple, straw. A little hot alcohol on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of clean pils grains, tangy green apple, powdery, some belgian yeast character. Palate is light and somewhat refreshing, high abrasive carbonation and a little powdery on the tongue. A bit of an alcohol bite in the finish. Not much going on. Goes down pretty easy.
