farmboy (218), Barwon Heads, Australia Jun 6, 2006 Lager = tasteless. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much. I was just disappointed I had to get through the whole pint.
TheGrandMaster (1526), Auckland, New Zealand Jul 13, 2008 Bottle, pours a crystal clear dark gold, some bubbles and a pillowy white head. A rather non-descript bready malt on the nose. An over-complicated palate for my mind - bready, sweet malt and dry metallic, hops compete. There is a floweryness thrown in their too. More flavoursome than most lagers dare, but I struggled to enjoy this. bozoNZ (391), Christchurch, New Zealand Feb 29, 2008 Good standard lager yellow, firm decent head. Flowery, slight dusty aroma. Nice fresh grainy flavours come through along with grassy hop notes. Nothing better ice cold on a sunny Sunday afternoon in the Dux courtyard. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 26, 2008 (On tap) Pale golden with a small, white head. Fresh, floral hop aroma. Light-bodied with a subdued malt base. Very dry hop accents that don’t leave much bitterness though. But a very decent summer quencher. 220108 NoiZe (1030), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands Jan 16, 2008 I’ve had this one in New Zealand on my honeymoon.

Sampled it at the Dux de Lux in Queenstown. Clear golden colored brew. A bit malty. Not too special, but very drinkable. yalnikim (676), Wellington, New Zealand Dec 3, 2006 Tasted 27/10/2006. Pint fro the brewpub. Pale gold, limed-hued, bright, with a white head. Lightly malty and a little grainy on the nose. A little grassy on the nose and palate. Very clean in the mouth, especially straight of the tap at mouth-numbing temperatures. Some juicy Saaz D hop flavouras it warms. Pretty fresh. Drinkable, and unremarkable.
