Draft at Dux de Lux in Queenstown. Pours clear gold- too clear for a witbier- with a medium white head. Aroma of berries, citrus, light banana and wheat, with a pinch of clove and other spice. Citrusy flavor, with a weak blend of the rest of those elements. Light body, disappointingly so, with a carbonated citrus bite.

Draught at Dux de Lux, Queenstown. Pours golden with a small white head. Wheat and citrus...not much going on in aroma or flavour. Just bland and average overall. Medium bodied, short and bitter finish.

On tap 01.09.09 at Dux de Lux in Queenstown. Gold with white head. Aroma is soap-like. Flavor is hoppy citrus, light malt body. Nice bitterness.

Draught at the Queenstown brew pub, a clear gold with a large pillowy white head. Lots of berries on the nose. In the mouth it is dry, lemony and some metallicness. Got sweeter as it warmed.

I’ve had this one in New Zealand on my honeymoon.
Had it at the Dux de Lux in Queenstown. Golden colored brew. Floral aroma. Light flavor, a bit watery and hints of yeast.

Confusing. Wouldn’t have picked this as a wheat. Looks the part (nice clear gold) but the flavours are perhaps British ale-like given the almost bitter, hop driven finish. Texture is reasonably thick but the flavours don’t spell wheat. Notwithstanding, a nice enough beer.

Gold in colour with no head, no aroma, no body or flavour. I think the batroom tap water was better. Very disapointing.
