2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 GregClow (2645) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 13, 2005
Pale yellow with a medium white head that quickly disappears. Aroma and flavour are basically ginger and not much else. I love most ginger drinks (ginger ale, Caribbean ginger beer, ginger tea...), so I found it fairly pleasant and refreshing as a beverage, but considering it in beer terms, it’s not too impressive - the ginger masks any beer-like qualities that might be there.
1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 tupalev (2708) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - APR 13, 2005
Cool bottle. Ginger Ale. It will be a stretch to write more. This was pale yellow, no head. Overly carbonated, like a soda (or a Canada Dry), with no other qualities that jump out at you. I was amazed at how much this tasted like ginger ale with a little kick. Cool bottle, oh, I said that...
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 mds (2115) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 10, 2005
bottle, and a pretty cool one at that. translucent yellow golden body, gassy, fluffy white head. smells like canada dry ginger ale, I guess that’s not weird since this beer contains ginger. some yeastiness. very gingery flavour. I don’t know what the point of this beer is. I can’t believe this beer is $3.35, it’s so mediocre.
2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 jerc (5444) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 10, 2005
Pale yellow, virtually no head. Aroma has notes of vegetable soup? Muted ginger in both the aroma and flavour. Muddled and dull. Touch thin. It says a lot that the bottle gets more attention in comments than the beer itself.

UPDATED: APR 15, 2005 330ml aluminum "bottle" "INGREDIENTS: BEER. GINGER" Light gold pour, with a white soapy head. Smells faintly herbal gingery, taste has some warming ginger presence, citrus, fey malt sweetness, overall weak, with soda-like carbonation. Why is this junk priced at over three dollars at our LCBO? *** suggestion: try REED’s premium ginger Beer which is sweetened without sugar and has a big hit of ginger to kick this J-beer’s silly ass... ***

(Aluminum bottle) Pours a lively carbonated, deep straw colour and a medium, foamy head. The nose conjures images of ginger ale and perfume. Flavours of strong ginger dominate everything about this beer. Its rather gross...

330ml aluminum bottle. Light gold pour, with a white soapy head. Spicy ginger nose. In the mouth - subdued ginger notes, light malt, light lemon. Fades into a watery, dryish club soda like finish.

Aroma of ginger and malt, pale yellow, huge white head, some pretty lace. Mediocre ginger flavour, quite light bodied, some ginger spiciness. Ordinary.
