Une bière peu chère, pas exeptionnel mais au moin c’est un vrai ambrée qui se laisse appréciée.

Bottle, 9C. Clear copper with a white head. Aroma of sticky bread crusts, raisins, quinces, gentle spices. Lowish carbonation. Sweet, malty with some dried fruit, creeping bitterness with spices, maybe just slightly metallic. Alcohol hidden, although it’s rich. Bitterness is discreet but insistent in a way that I really liked. Not a thriller but a classy and pleasant drink.

A good Belgian style amber but not quite up to a Belgian brew. Good but not as good as The classics.

Pours clear amber with well retained white head and good lace. Aromas of noble hops, sweet toffee and grains. Med chewy lightly sweet body, light med carbonation, noble hop lingers through lightly hoppy and mineral finish ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Boks 0,5l fra U-Express, Nice. Delt med Rune under rateseanse i H9 1 Okt 13. Brun med litt rødskjær. Veldig høyt tett skum. Tett lacing. Forsiktig maltaroma. Smaken er på den søte siden. Karamell & mandler. Syrlig avslutning. Svakt uklar i siste kvelling.

11.5 oz bottle. a pretty standard biere de garde - some caramel going on, but mostly grassy and grainy - nothing stand-out, glad I had it at a fest instead of dishing the money out for a whole bottle on my own.

Can 0,50L. Clear amber colour, flat visible carbonation, with medium big off-white head. Fruity nose of grapefruit, orange, grapes, ananas, dates, cherries and also caramel, honey and vanilla. Taste starts moderate bitter and finish heavy bitter with cask wood note. Medium to full body, oily carbonation and soft carbonation.

26-Jan-14 (330-ml bottle: Obtained in trade with Otter, thanks Jeremy!)
This beer pours a hazy to cloudy body that’s an amber-brown color. The light-tan head rises to half an inch before settling quickly to a thin ring. The nose is very, very malty and smells pretty sweet, with caramel candy exploding out of the glass, plus medium-brown toast, toffee, decayed logs, fig, and dried apricot. On the palate, the flavors of sweet, caramel candy, toffee, brown sugar, fig, and woodsy earthiness echo the nose’s promise of malty and fruity sweetness, though it lacks complexity. The beer is medium-plus in weight, light-medium in carbonation, and very smooth, soft, and easy on the palate. Overall, this is unexpectedly sweet, but once over that initial surprise, this is really enjoyable.

Bottle 0,75l. Pours an amber colour with frothy white head. Aroma of chocolate malts added by a grassy touch. Flavours of apricot, peach and mid-sweet malts. Sweet ending with metallic alcohol. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
