Very nice, clear and dark amber color with medium head. Sweetish, slightly alcoholic aroma with almonds. Quite malty, sweetish, earthy and woody, slightly acidic flavor with a long, bitter and sticky finish. Medium-bodied, very smoothly carbonated and creamy palate. A very pleasant, reasonably complex and easily drinkable brew. Enjoy it on a rainy day with good company :)

Looks real nice in the glass. Sparkling copper body topped by a head that is part fine-particled and dense, and part frothy collapsing pillow. The aroma in no way stands up to the appearnce, flat middle of the road maltiness. The flavor is about what one would expect given the aroma, some malt, some sugar, some yeast. Nothing stands out. The bosy is medium and can be a bit harsh.

Orange in colour with some malty sweetness on the nose. More caramel sweetness and some red berry fruit on the mouth. Not very exciting.

Spicy fruity aroma with clear red orange colour and no head. Spiritus short flavour with fizzy palate.

500ml can: This one is an amber color. The beer is a bit fizzy with a slightly off white head, but it dies down quickly. The aroma is mild, but somewhat caramel malty sweet. The taste is better than the aroma. There is a medium bodied caramel sweetness to the taste, but also a fairl amount of complexity. Some nuttiness, fruitiness, with a hint of spices and hops. Flavor could be a bit stronger. Really excellent for a can beer!

This is a very tricky beer. At first, it’s aroma did not announce a very rich beer. I found the color rather unique but I am not very familiar with this style. The least I could say is that the appearance was inviting. The first mouthful was impressive as an army of flavour invaded me. Sweet and malt were at the party while a nice aftertaste grew nicely. A good beer for spring.

Bottled. A peaty sweet smell. The beer is brown with a big white head. The flavour is a bit of a mish mash with a whiskey type feel to it, but much too sweet.

[11.2 bottled June 03] Chunky thick white head left layers of lace that still kling to the glass. Aroma is sweet and malty. Caramel apple! Taste...not so hot. Really just too sweet. I'll rerate once one ages, but I don't have too much hope.
