Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, malt extract, light roasted, light hoppy, light yeasty. A beutiful amber beer but with no head. The aroma is slightly malty sweet. The taste is soft with a great malt blend - slightly sweet with a good bitterness. It gets better with each sip.

50 cL can. Pours with off-white head and orange colour. Aroma is malty and straw/hops. Creamy mouthfeel. Good soft/sweet caramel malty taste which goes into a soft bitterness. Ends slight sweet malty.

(Bottle 33 cl) Very beautiful amber coloured beer, slightly hazy with a thick, creamy head. Very full-bodied with a distinct sweetness, malty and aromatic. But lacks some of the fruity notes found in the best Belgian ales. 220501

Bottled. Amber coloured with a creamy nice head. Sweet aroma of fruit along with notes of malt and hops. Malty taste with hints of fruit and honey. Finish is a bit bitterish, but overall a nice beer.

Canned. Orange-amber. Sweet and almondy. Generously malty with fairly soft mouthfeel. Somewhat funky with a mild, honeyish finish.

Red orange colour with nice creamy head. Malty aroma with hints of fruits. I can smell apples. Has a sweet fruity and malty taste with a nice bitterness. This is a very good beer.

75cl bottle. Pours dark amber with a creamy white head. Aroma & taste is of malts, caramel, spices & some citric/earthy notes. Medium filling palate. Overall quite sweet. . . and far from superior Biere de garde - quite drinkable though!
