Pours a glowing medium gold with a thin, fizzy white head and continuous dozens of fast-rising bubbles. Huge dank funky barnyard nose--soggy brown leaves. Clean light fizzy body with a tidy herbal hop finish. Lovely and drinkable and refreshing. ChainGangGuy (2556), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA

Smell: Floral aroma with some musty yeast and maybe, just maybe a light skunkiness to it.
Taste: Mellow, mild toasted grains with a light sweetness. Continued yeast mustiness. Some sweet apple fruitiness. Finishes dry, with some grain huskiness and a hint of earthy funk.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: I gotta say, I was struggling to get overly excited about this one. kp (8400), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Aroma and taste of sweet caramel apples and light spiciness.Crisp finish and light on the palate, but the maltiness still finds a way to shine through into the finish. The combo of the rich malt flavors and floral and fruity finish made for a really enjoyable brew. badgerben (3596), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 18, 2007 Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy/fizzy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (grain, cereal, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter, husky. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. First whiff reminds me of macro lager. As with other Jenlain brews, I’m extremely disappointed. apoptosis (1316), Long Island, New York, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 15, 2007 Pale golden body with a very small head - more like a dotting of bubbles on the top. The aroma is kind of skunky to me. But if I look past that, it seems very crisp and refreshingly hoppy. The flavor is not well-matched to the aroma, though. The cold conditioning explains the "lagerness", but this beer is actually quite malty and sweet - a nice surprise, I might add. Mellow and floral. Easy to drink. notalush (2648), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 15, 2007 Perfectly clear golden pour, with a fizzy body and a foamy, soapy head that settles quickly - very flowery, european hop aroma, with strong pils malt and honey - the flavor is like a sweeter version of a pils - crisp, lager-ish flavors, with strong herbal notes, hints of wildflowers and a medum hop profile - honey is quite apparent, and actually is a bit too dominant, making the beer a touch over-sweet - finishes like iced herbal tea - not terrible, but I probably won’t buy it again, regardless of the cheap price tag.
