Editor’s Note: The original Jenlain Blonde from 2000 until March 2005 was 6% and still exists under the new name of Jenlain No. 6. A new Jenlain Blonde, of 7.5%, was introduced in March 2005.

Warka do 30.05.2014, wiec prawie rok po terminie. Kolor ciemnozloty, idealnie klarowne. Piana ladnie znaczy szklo i pozostawia przez caly czas gruba warstewke. W aromacie owocowo-przyprawowo, mocno belgijsko, podobne do blonda lub tripla, niestety jest tez tutaj jakas nutka stechla, ale alkohol jest calkowicie niewyczuwalny. W odczuciu pelne i gladkie, wysycenie wysokie, ale bardzo drobne, szampanskie. W smaku sporo slodowosci, belgijskich owocow i przypraw, troche lodyg, troche sliwek. Goryczka niska, ale wyraznie zaznaczona, trawiasta, ziolowa.

750ml caged bottle from local shop in Vic-Sur-Aisne, Picardie, France. Golden amber beer with small head. Aroma is malts and a little yeast. Taste is yeast, malts, dry fruit and alcohol. Decent.

Floral and summer fruit aroma, like pear and green apple, tastes awfully sweet, very sugary and almost sickeningly so. Medium-bodied, sweet, candy aftertaste and quite mediocre.

Medium retention and some lingering and molasses lacings left in the glass S: Sweet grains, vanilla and honey. Malty and fruity. Flowery and bit citrus hops T: Sweet malts upfront with strong notes of honey. Notes of oranges and flowery hops. Moderate bitterness. Balanced M: Medium body. Molasses. Medium carbonation.
