Good, not incredible depth, but interesting. The aroma is of apples and caramel with a little barny funk. The appearance s beautiful. Golden amber with a thick lacy white head, small trailing bubbles. The taste is sweet apples with caramel. Not a lot of hop or depth. The palate is clean but sweet almost cloying. Not a session beer, but good with tomato soup, ham and cheese.

750 ml. Clear golden-orange with a lasting film of foam. Aromas of caramel, funk and piss. Taste is pear baked in honey, apple cider and brown sugar. A hint of aged hard cheese, fake cinnamon, and toasted pecan. Light-medium body is to the sweet side, but finishes with a balance of musty grape and white wine. Medium carbonation provides a needed tingle as well.

Scrapersnbeer (215) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 21, 2012
A hazy yellow beer with white head. Smells fruity and floral and strangely chlorinated, possibly due to a unique yeast. Tastes over sweet with tart and bitter at finish. Light bodied like kolsch. Heavy beer brewer attempts mainstream beer - results is average.

Chrystal clear yellow, big white head. Wow, this is a huge disappointment. Completely lacking in character, bland and heavy in all respects. Seems like a run of the mill Euro-lager.

Bottle. Blonde, clear with low carbonation. Fruity and bitter.Resembles a cross between a lager and a bitter. Not what you usually associate with this style but still very nice.

Clear amber/gold color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of yeast, fruit, & floral; Flavor of sweet malt, yeast, fruit, caramel, some citrus, and spice; Finish is dry; Fairly high carbonation; Decent enough.

stravale (372) - Inverness, SCOTLAND - NOV 12, 2011
Bottle from Beers of Europe
Golden ,clear, white frothy head.
Aroma is fairly light - yeast, cereals, sweetish cereal malts.
Taste - yeasty, sweet malts, cereals, light spicy slight peppery notes, alcohol quite well hidden, bit over sweet.
Palate medium carb, smooth, particulary sweet, medium body, slightly floury texture, no hop bitterness, bit foamy near the finish. Finish of sweetish malt, rather brief, yeasty with some warming alcohol.
Overall - Reasonably pleasant beer, but too sweet. I’m sure there are better versions of the style.
