Bottle 0,75l. My first great beer. Surprising, fantastic aroma and delicious flavor. Rich fruitiness and sweet maltiness, balanced by light bitterness. I’ll don’t forget this experience.

Bottle from a french supermarket. Pours golden with a frothy white head that fades quite quickly. The taste is initially sweet with citrus and moderate spice and a bitter finish. There is some caramel and the alcohol comes through too. Light and refreshing.

Bottled 13/08/14. A blonde beer with a white head and lace. A sweet BdG. Honeyed notes. Quite lagerish. Unexciting. Yeast in the nose is OK.

Bottle 0,75l
Aroma: Nice fruity – mostly peaches and apricots, slightly raspberries, citrus fruit, grapes; hint of coriander and another spices, grains, bread, slightly floral.
Appearance: Semi-clear amber to gold body with thin white foam.
Flavour: The first gulp was very fruity, sweet rich and full taste of apricot and another fruit with hints of melt and hop. After this the taste followed to malt, yeast with bitterness on background. Final was intensive hop with flowers. In the palate medium carbonise.
Overall: Gourmet beer. Nice.

0.75l bottle. Clear orange body, white head. Aroma of coriander, bread, grains and some light fruityness. Taste of coriander, bread, ripe peach and just a touch of floral hops in the finish. Quite sweet beer with a sticky, silky mouthfell. Very nice beer.

Unimpressive color, but immediate retribution after the first sip. Appears fizzy and yellow, but in fact is hardly carbonated. Sweet and sticky carpeting your tongue delightfully. A bit sticky mouthed after a few sips but the finish and flavors that stick around are more than welcome. Honey, molasses, pear flavors. Another example of a great warm weather Belgian beer.

Bottle from notes. Nose is herbal, floral elderflower. Taste follows, with a very slight bitterness from the hops. Mouthfeel is slightly too carbonated. The lack of hops is consistent with the style but, is ultimately the downfall of the drink,

Jenlain Blonde has a thin, off-white head, a semi-clear, orange-gold appearance, some bubble streams, and an enormous amount of suspended, powdery sediment. The aroma is extremely faint, but one might pick up a ghost of fruit and light malt. Taste is of syrup & apricots, sugar, light malt, and mild, background bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium and somewhat soft, and Jenlain Blonde finishes semi-dry, easy drinking, and not the slightest bit alchohilic. RJT
